Stayed to drop off our daughter at UCD. Great location! We could walk to everything.The front desk staff was super friendly and the room was remodeled, the a/c was awesome.We will stay here everytime we visit.

What a beautiful property. We visited Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite, stopping in Davis to visit our daughter. This was the nicest hotel we stayed at on the trip. The cottage style rooms were delightful in every way, from the cute outdoor seating area to the modern and large room that has a lot of wow factor.
My biggest gripe about hotels are the hidden electrical outlets. Not here, every lamp (4) had an electrical outlet and USB port.
The bed was excellent and comfy, so were the pillows. Heat/AC was very quiet. Loved that Kuerig coffee makers are in room.
I'm going to seek out Ascent Hotels in the future, as we also stayed this trip at Sierra Sky Ranch, the second nicest of our trip. They feature unique properties, and this one sure fits the bill.

They knew exactly what I needed, and I got it.
Logistics made impossible to find a place at the last minute. The found a spot for me, at the Ascend Collection through the Choice rewards program.
If I could figure out how to attach a picture, I would do that.

The room (a cottage) I stayed in was great, but the staff is even better. Zinnia is an absolute gem: she brought me toothpaste when I ran out and bandaids for my blisters after a seriously LONG day of job interviews. This hotel actually cares enough about making its customers happy to pay attention to little details like that, which makes it the first place that I've stayed at in a long time where that's true. Will be back.

The title says it all. Although it is close to downtown it is very quite. They serve a decent breakfast. The staff was very helpful, especially Kassandra from the front desk. Rooms are great and I will definitely come back.
