This was I imagine a super hotel when it was built but not anymore I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong the rooms are lovely as is the food, pool area and great wifi but that's where it stops. The reception area is huge and sparse as are the corridors and the bathroom in your room needs a total refit. Rusty bath and lots of heavy marble. Being one street away from the beach is a huge bonus. Cannot comment on the children's activities as there were none there. The staff all appear a bit miserable and you certainly need a command of the Spanish language. Luckily I do... It's certainly not a place for Brits to go on holiday but a couple of nights for sightseers is fine. Not cheap either. €100 a night for two half board in late September. Would we stay again? No...

great location (block from the beach)

helpfull employees
clean property
nice pool
great animation for kids (if they speak Spanish)
negative points:
rust in the bathroom everywhere hole in entry ceiling
no coffee pot
waitress had an attitude and took the glasses off our table when I said we didn't want their beverages one day.
front desk speaks moderate English - no one else
you better know some Spanish if you want to enjoy this stay
all animation seemed to be for kids // even late night the entertainment was for the kids to entertain the adults.
if you don't rent a car, and you stay there for more than 3or4 days, you will be in real trouble if you want to do some of the amazing things there are to do around here.
overall:
I had a great time/Valencia and the surrounding are a complete dream.......... got into some bull runs in a little town 2k from the hotel/Roman castle 5k away - museums everywhere everywhere everywhere.......... even went bowling.
The locals are extra cool!!!!!! They just don't understand you unless you speak Spanish))
BUT - AGAIN - if you don't have a car and speak some Spanish you will be in real trouble.
This is not a 4 star hotel by any standard. There was nothing for adults except for the pool (you can't dive in), or paddle ball, and there is more art in a hospital than in this hotel. The lobby felt like a bus stop.
Still.............. quality stay. I am not sure if was worth the money if this helps anyone.
We were there for 2 weeks end of June - go in July or August
PS: EVERYTHING CLOSES FOR SIESTA FROM 2:00 TO 5:30 //// SUNDAYS AND MONDAYS NOTHING IS OPEN !!!!!!!!

The location is nice. The hotel is not bad but it is from my point of view average. The staff is very bad trained an rude. They don t say thank you, please or anything that is appropriate to tell to a customer, and I refer to both reception and restaurant employees. The food was good and diverse. On the terrace, cheap plastic furniture. They did not add daily the bathroom kit, so we only had the beauty kit on our first day out of 5. Also, 2 days in a raw they did lot of noise when cutting the grass from the garden.
The towels were old and extra used, should be change. The entire stay was ok, but definitely would not stay there once again.

stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in september 2016. Nice rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. We didn't have diner at the hotel so I can not say a thing about it but the all the rest was a nice experience

This is a resort hotel that is 2 blocks from the beach. You can get an American breakfast at the restaurant that is top notch. I was there in the off season so the hotel was quite. Ask for a beach view or at least a pool view beds are comfortable but small compared to the US. This hotel is well worth the money.
