The Air Hotel Linate worked out well for me to stay at before catching a plane at the airport the next day. Although the furniture in the room was a bit worn, it was clean and relatively quiet. They provided free water, sodas and juice and their free breakfast was great, better than in most hotels I've been in. The wifi was great and when I needed the shuttle to the airport they drove me alone within 5 minutes of my request. Overall it was a good place to stay.

We had a bit of a challenge locating the hotel until we backtracked and approached from the other direction, then it was obvious the driveway paralleled a car parking facility. We dropped our bags, received instructions from the helpful reception staff on the location of a gas station, the car rental and accessing the shuttle. He also explained about the on demand shuttle in the early morning and that a complimentary light breakfast was available in the lobby from 3-6 am (unlike the "chain" hotels). We opted for the upgraded executive room and were pleased with the parquet floored room, shower, free minibar and internet. I, too, was surprised to see only one bath towel in bathroom, until I open up the closet and saw the other towels and robe. While it was like a step back in time, the property and room was clean, well kept and convenient, plus it was a good value.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The price was very good. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and competent. The room we had was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast sounded good, but we had to leave for the airport before the breakfast started. No problem - there is a light breakfast in the lobby, with coffee.
The hotel runs a free shuttle to Linate. Just ask and they will pick you up or drop you off. From Linate you can catch a bus. (They're working on the Metro line connecting Linate to other parts of Milan. When that's done, that will be convenient.)
The hotel grounds are beautiful. There are some nice seating areas. While jets from Linate fly overhead, the hotel rooms are soundproof. (Don't be scared by the padded walls or doors!)
We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very close to the airport, parking is easy to access and the reception process friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a good shower (none of that eco rubbish dribble) and decent wifi. Prices are reasonable and breakfast was included in the tariff. What's not to like?

We checked in late, with a 7:30am flight the next morning. Called for a pick up at Linate after returning our car and the pick up was smooth. We were greeted well at the desk and he suggested we go to the bar for a snack since the restaurant was closed and the bar was closing after 11pm. We got a sandwich and drink before collapsing.
Leaving at 5am was smooth too. Pastries in the lobby w coffee and a driver hustled us to the airport.
Solid hotel experience geared to people in travel transition. All staff we interacted with were efficient and gracious. Room comfortable and clean.
Only surprise, one bath towel in the bathroom. At 4am I just decided I wouldn't call and we would deal with it.
