A nice, beautiful hotel with a huge pool, looking like a tropical beach. Looking out of the window you find yourself in the middle of palm trees and flowers, a couple of meters behind that the jungle begins.
The superbig plus of this hotel is its staff: superfriendly, and they try their very best to help you out. Especially Berna, at the reception, is a gem. She is friendly, polite, caring, and whenever there is a problem, be sure she will be able to help.
There is a complimentary shuttle to the airport any time you want, which works perfectly. There is a shuttle downtown nine times a day, taking you to town and picking you up again. It worked spotlessly.
The things I didn't like were
- the fact that the air-conditioning machine is placed on the balcony - which makes the balcony unusable :(
- the breakfast: At a hotel this big I expect a buffet, to be honest. You can choose from a little menu, but you only get two eggs (done the way you like them), two side dishes, soup, one slice of toast (!) and three slices of fruit. Perhaps you wouldn't be interested in the eggs, but would like more fruit - well, that's your problem then. I don't think this is appropriate for a hotel of this standard.
- the fact that I paid 90 Euro per night - and a late check out of 3 hours would have cost me 75 US$... Disproportionate.

We had a family vacation to Palau and had 6 rooms here. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. Love the heavy wood furniture and carvings in lobby and elsewhere. It was an experience that, while a tad rough around the edges, fit with what we were looking for in Palau. One of our party came early and stayed in one of the top end hotels in the area and said they liked Airai better. The pool was a blast with the water slides and Jacuzzi jets. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff was very helpful with transportation and dinner reservations. It is a little out of the way but we liked the quiet. We used the free shuttle heavily since we had 11 people and it worked out well. The breakfast was included in our price and was good. Dinner there was also enjoyable. Best part was that the price was very reasonable. We booked on line and feel like we got tremendous value. Will stay there again if I return.

The hotel is located about 15 minutes from town but we had a car. It is in need of major maintenance but since most of the time we were out on tour it's ok. It is clean and the staff were very helpful. The food was so so

We were here 2 nights in total. In general this hotel was good as it is one of the cheaper ones in the overpriced Palau.
The transfer from the airport was ok ... unfortunately we had to wait a very long time after the last passengers (total 6) jumped to the bus (a little bit annoying at 2am). The transfer back was perfect.
The breakfast is so lala.
The rooms are totally ok.
With younger kids (we were there with a 2,5 years old) it is a little dangerous. The railing has big spacings that the kids could climb through and fall deep, e.g in the balcony in the 3floor or the outdoor corridor
The water park is nice and in general fun (the big slide is great!) but also here I would question the safety. Cables are installed in the water or as a stumbling block and also railings are not existing or spacing is large.

Stayed for 6 nights. It has a water park in the back, great for kids; however, they don't always turn them on. I guess you may have to talk to the front desk if your kids want to play in there. I also has a pretty big pool for lap swimmers.
Location is a few miles away from main town, but they have a scheduled shuttle for town and on-demand to the airport, which is great! The room itself is average. It's clean and spacious, but I found that there're ants, especially if you have food laying out, even though I stayed on the 3rd floor! The bathroom is okay, although the curtain for the shower didn't wrap around the whole tub as it should be. TV in room is more for decoration as the signals weren't great. For the price it charges, I was expecting something a bit better. The rate includes breakfast, which is a buffet including Asian and Western items. The food is okay. Had dinner there once, it's okay but pricey compared to what you can find in town.
Overall, I think this place is great if you have kids because of the water park. Otherwise, you may find something better. The shuttle is a real plus; the reception desk ladies are very helpful and courteous!
