Aktur is located on the most wonderful bay area in Bodrum with more than 4 different beaches enough to please everyone.
It is a residence concept with no breakfast included (would be better to include actually). Two bedrooms are great most with garden access and 2 bathrooms.
The rooms do need a renovation and the only thing to criticize is that now they put beach towels inside the room and never change them (before it was possible to change toweşsıat the beach every day).
One other thing is that the people who run the cafe on the beach are very lazy (not cleaning properly) and the cafe is very expensive.
Still the beautiful sea is worth it all!!..

We spend one week in Aktur Residence. Very good size of house. Clean. In every 3 days, they are cleaning the house, change of towels, except beach towels. In the kitchen, you can find every utencils to cook. The house has refrigirator, washing machine and dish washer. Beautifull garden. The best part is the sea. They have six private sea side all around the facility. The sea water is the most clean water around the Bodrum area.
They have a restaurant serving very good turkish cousine. They have a market, you can buy all your needs. All houses either has a balcony or garden enterance. There is no need to look any other hotel other than Aktur Residence.

Helpfull staff, best location, beautifull beaches.

Rooms are clean and foods are delicious. Nature is amazing, 90% of rooms are sea view. İnternet connection is perfect. Definitely will be back again. Rooms are very clean. Service is very fast. İn the heart of Bodrum

Needs refurbishment

I love Aktur. I have been coming here for the last 35 years. We were renting a house for a few months during the 80s but with work and everything else, I do not have the time so we stay in Aktur Residence now for a week or so every year, sometimes twice. Regulars know the beaches are great (you have many options), esp. the garden apartments are very nice offering you both seaview and the nice garden. And one of the best things is you know what to expect. Well used to... Looks like it is becoming more and more frequent incidents of falling curtains, broken nets and doors, different kitchen utensils in different apartments, tempermental shower heads, etc. As a regular visitor, it would be a shame to see this place to become indifferent to people's requests and loose its charm.

Remove that Certificate of Excellence please....

If you are an Aktur bay lover (many people are, I used to be one of them), I can understand why so many people love staying here. Objectively speaking, without the Aktur Bay love contamination, Aktur Residence has a ways to go. Room is very base. Construction and fit and finish show amateur and hurried touch all over the place (base boards, painting, materials etc). Beds are very, very base also and not very comfortable. Service is quite bad. Internet was not working properly. We spent so much time troubleshooting with tech support and even then it didn't work well. We were badgered by phone to check out on our last day. It's not like we were late, it was just rude of them. Beach area was a good hike down and it can get very, very hot. Rate doesn't include breakfast or anything so basically you are paying up for being in Aktur. Overall, if you love Aktur, I think it will be a good experience regardless, but please do me a favor Tripadvisor and remove the badge. Not deserved.
