It is hard to add to what other folks have said in there great reviews of the Inn. The place was really nice and convenient to downtown and the Biltmore Estate. Rosemary and her staff was fantastic as was the breakfast each morning.
We stayed in Juliet's Chamber. Other reviews mention the clawfoot tub/shower and the high step getting in. My wife, being vertically challenged, easily alleviated this by using the bedside step stool.
I am an early riser, usually a good 3-4 hours before everyone else gets up. So I would like to give a special shout-out to Simon (the Inn's cat) for keeping me company in the lobby during the early morning hours.
Thanks again to Rosemary, Simon and the rest of the staff for a wonderful visit.

Fabrizio and Rosemary were terrific hosts. Without our asking, Rosemary upgraded the room we had reserved to a more expensive and charming room, with no added charge. We had to leave early after our last night's stay, so Rosemary prepared us a breakfast to take on the road, which was very thoughtful. Our only minor complaint was that daily breakfast was served a little late, in that we had wanted to visit the Biltmore Estate earlier than we eventually arrived. We hope to visit the Asheville area in the future, and if so, we plan on staying again at the Albemarle Inn.

Rooms were big. Floors above and outside creak. Service was very good. Our room was nice but had areas that could be repaired such as wallpaper, holes in the walls, etc. Breakfast each morning was good. Owners were present often and are nice.

We are locals from Asheville who needed an in-town getaway to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and the Albemarle Inn was the perfect way to do so! Fabrizio and Rosemary are gracious, fun, and attentive hosts. We love history, so staying in a beautifully restored home that is over 100 years old was a treat! The Reynolds room was spacious with a large closet, lots of windows, an en suite bath with a clawfoot soaker tub (and shower), and a king-sized sleigh bed that was SO comfortable!

Owners and staff are kind and attentive. Willing to meet some specific needs and requests. Location is great to enjoy some aggressive walks around the Grove Park area north of town. Bed was comfortable and inn clean. Only point of detail would be to make sure walls in bathroom are wiped down.
