What People are saying

Really nice hotel, well situated for visiting the region

ThorntonWoolleyon 10/04/2017 11:54

This is a really good hotel as a base for visiting the region, especially with a car. There is plenty of parking available if you have your own car. It's located on a main road with good access to the motorways that mean that Treviso, Padua, Verona, Venice and Vicenza are all comfortable driving distances away. It's also only a few minutes' walk from a rail station with an hourly service into Venice. You can buy rail tickets from reception which saves having to negotiate the ticket machines.

The hotel itself is lovely. We had a family room which was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was really good with an excellent shower. There was a small safe and fridge in the room. Breakfast was excellent, with a nice selection of things, and the staff were really nice and attentive, making sure that everything was kept topped up and that we got fresh teas and coffees. Our Italian is extremely limited but the staff were proficient in English. I needed to print something whilst we stayed there and the lady on reception was very helpful and kindly printed it for me twice when she realised it hadn't come out quite right the first time. There was free wifi as well.

In summary, this is a lovely hotel and a better base for exploring the region than if you stayed in Venice itself. I would highly recommend it, particularly if you are using a car for your stay.

Absolutely Recommend For ANY Venice Trip

We both loved this little hotel. We were originally a bit skeptical after seeing it was a short commute to Venice. But, we would without a question stay here again. The rooms are top notch and there is a great restaurant right next door - less than 80 feet away in Colanda. The staff here is great and speaks English (if you are Italian poor such as we are) and the breakfast is very good (it was included in our room). The train station is a 5 minute walk and the bus station is shorter than that. ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel for a Venice trip or to the surrounding area.

commute to Venice

If you want to stay out of town, away from the crowds and the expense, this could be a good option.
However... trains to Venice are only 1 per hour and stop around 7pm. There is little else in the town, so you need to eat in the same (rather unfriendly, average) restaurant each night.
Whether I would recommend it I think it depends on what you want to do (i.e. just Venice and back - fine to eat in same restaurant) and how long you want to stay for (we stayed too long).
The staff in the hotel are lovely - but could do with being a bit more knowledgeable about public transport - we got stuck somewhere as they didn't tell us that the bus service is different on Sundays.

Clean hotel in a beautiful place

Our apartment was clean and spotless with pristine bathroom facilities and bed sheets. In our apartment we had air conditioning, a kitchen, fridge, freezer and a TV. The only problem was that the apartment was a short distance from the actual hotel so we had no access to free hotel wi-fi. The hotel and apartment is in a quiet and peaceful location with supermarkets and a train station near. We loved our stay!! Beautiful weather!

The best of the best.

This beautiful, cozy, and clean hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Even though a member of our group was the most annoying person in the world, the staff at the hotel were incredibly patient and kind.

The homelike feel of this hotel surpasses the environment of any high-end chain hotel.

Very happy with this place, would definitely recommend.
