Nice stay for one night:) the children loved the pool area and spendt much time there before and afther dinner:)
The food is also recomendable, not the high end italian cuisine:)

The hotel itself is OK, with comfortable rooms, albeit rather hard beds and pillows. Recommend asking for aircondition as the weather can be sweltering, but the nice pool area is refreshing. The service and hospitality is outstanding; made us think of a sane Faulty Towers. And now for the food: 4-course dinner for €16 that was really tasty; the portions were appropriate and made from good, fresh ingredients. We stayed here in the beginning of our vacation and do not expect to get such good Italian food during our remaining vacation - as Roberto said to our son: This is the real thing.

We stayed one night en route home from Rome. The hotel is family run - and it shows. The owner lived in Australia for many years before returning to Italy (hence the name and much of the decoration). Great care has been tajken over the decor with warm vibrant colours complimenting cooler pastels. There is a good swimming pool (too cold when we went, so we didn't try it) with comfy loungers (which we did try!). There is also an outside area with a BBQ.
The rooms were of adequate size and, like the rest of the hotel, scrupulously clean. The bathroom had lovely fittings. Small balcony. The only downside was that the plug sockets were of the smaller European type, so our chargers didn't fit. Wifi in the hotel, but it didn't extend to outside.
The food was great (we were in a gropup and had the same menu) - an extensive starter buffet, followed by a pasta course and then beautifully cooked veal (for 20 of us!) and an alcoholic lovely light pudding. There was also a good option for the vegetarian with us (usually a difficult option!).
Slightly out of the way, Tabiano Terme is a spa town that was mostly closed out of season, but a good option for touring the region of Emilia Romagna and Parma. We shall try to stay here again - we like good, slightly quirky hotels!

Hotel Boomerang provides an affordable stay in an exceptionally clean and comfortable surroundings. My friend and I stayed for a weekend with the full board option and we were impressed by the menus offered and high standard of cooking. Service both in the restaurant and front desk was efficient and polite.. The hotel is positioned at the entrance to the village of Tabaiano and rooms overlook the surrounding hills. There is a lovely swimming pool in the grounds where you can relax
Though not in the luxury range I felt this hotel offered a quiet dignified ambience and I would definitely recommend it for a short stay
