We were unsure as we drove up loopy switchbacks, but the little hotel (check-in at the Pizzeria) had adorable character and stunning views of the valley. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Dinner across the street at the Pizzeria had live music and the most amazing, home grown, home cooked Italian dinner. Super authentic, wonderful experience.

Our stay was lovely. Owner/family running the hotel was kind, room was clean and pretty, as well the balcony view. Looking out of the balcony I've rememberd all the adventure of Nathan Drake from Uncharted.

We visited in Italy in November 2012 to watch a swimming competition and opted to stay out of town (Loano). Albergo Cecchin was listed within a 10km radius of our destination and is exactly as pictures depict, comfortable, clean and with amazing scenery. Hostess and staff are very welcoming. We had peaceful sleeps away from the traffic bustle and an easy drive into town each day.

Is a hotel restaurant, cannot say anything about the rooms because we stayed in a bed & breakfast nearby (somebody's home). The whole is a family operated business, the restaurant is spacious (inside) plus the outdoor terrace. During wintertime is kind of isolated don't know summertime.
Dined there twice because there were no other closer restaurants/eateries available in the area; the food quality is really good. Try the "farinata" which is a sort of thin pancake made with chickpea flour and can be seasoned with salt or rosemary or whatever typical of Ligurean region. Also their pizzas are superb, I would say one of the best I've tried comparing with lots of other places; the day after, the pizza was still good even cold which is something that doesn't happen with other pizzas when they get cold they are not good anymore... and the prices are those adequate, very good priced not touristy...
Highly recommended; when in summertime sit by the terrace with castle view, that was the film location of Capricorn village of "Inkheart" (2008, Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany)
