Really nice place - stayed on 4th floor in October. Would definitely recommend. The room was as comfortable as you'd find anywhere else. Had a small balcony with a great view overlooking the valley below Castelmezzano in front and with partial view of village to the left. Staff were friendly especially Salvatore who was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Food: very good especially the dried peppers (antipasti) and herb-crusted lamb (secondi). Wine: the red Verbo Anglianico del Vulture 2015 was a good one.

We spent 2 nights at this very nice hotel. Everything about it we enjoyed. The room is well set up and comfortable with a nice balcony. The food was good and views across a stunning Valley perfect. Added to this the staff made us feel right at home. This is a very good hotel in an delightful village.

We stayed here for a night on a recent cycling tour of southern Italy. The hotel was fine, but not really special. The hotel was pretty empty except for our group. We had dinner at the hotel, which I thought was quite good. Breakfast the next morning was not as hearty as I would have liked, but pretty typical for Italy. WiFi was so-so, but free.

Good location, and nice modern room with a balcony with wonderful views down the valley and across to Piertrapertosa. A little difficult to find (there was only a very small sign on the wall outside), and there were hardly ever any staff at reception or in the bar - it was early in the season but the hotel seemed deserted. However, when we did find staff, they were very friendly and helpful, and the cooking was excellent.

This hotel turned out to be one of the favourites of our trip, mainly due to the service and the comfortable room, complete with balcony overlooking the valley and Pietropertosa. I have to say the shower was very small, so if you are a well built person you might have difficulty squeezing in!!
There were not many guests in midweek late May, so we found it very quiet and peaceful. The village was quiet as well, with not much open at night, so we were happy to eat in the hotel. The food was delicious and Salvatore was informative about the Italian food and very attentive to our needs.
We did a lot of walking and touring round, so our tip is to buy your panini at the local bakery up the street, and then take them to the alimentari round the corner, where the lady makes up your sandwich with whatever filling you fancy. Wonderful!
No problem with parking when we were there, but I would suggest it gets very busy in summer.
Wifi not great in the room, as we were low down on first floor, so we just used it in the lobby, which was no problem for us.
Pietrepertosa village on the opposite mountain is well worth a visit... we nearly had it to ourselves, as everywhere was so quiet. Fabulous views following a long climb to the top.
We would love to go back to this hotel again .
