Stopped at Super 8 after a long drive from East Oregon. Easy to get to - right off the freeway. Easy parking. Nice big clean room. Restaurant next door.

We recently spent two nights in Sparks. I worked in the lobby. I noticed that ALL of the front desk staff were friendly to everyone who came in, human and canine!

Just looking for one night stay out of the highrises and gambling mecas. This one is easy to get to and next to the Alamo Cafe, truckstop, bar and casino. We used Lyft to the Grand Sierra for an event and back and was very convenient, clean and with a continental breakfast to boot, Free drink and gambling coupons for the Alamo next door even!

The hotel was old and somewhat run-down, but I drove up from Vegas for an interview with NV state and had to stay overnight. We arrived really late at night and had a smooth check in with Holly after midnight. The following morning we called the manager and asked if we could possibly check out 2 hours late to which she said no because "the hotel is REALLY slow and she's sending all of her housekeeping staff home." I explained that we drove 8 hours for an interview that was later in the afternoon and if she's not at max occupancy what would be the harm in allowing the additional two hours and letting the night housekeeper clean the room tonight. She refused again and stated if we needed to stay two hours we needed to pay for another full 24 hour stay. That level of "customer service" is horrible and concerning not to mention that since the hotel itself is not very nice, they could really score on amazing service but NOT AT ALL!! Do better Super 8 :-(
On a scale of 1-10 Super 8 would be a 4.

We had a nice stay, but it was a little noisy in the morning when everyone was leaving the hotel early in the morning. This happens at many hotels, but this one had many doors that automatically slam shut and was noisy for us. Not a big deal, just not as quiet as some other places we’ve been. Breakfast was ok, enough to get you started for the day.
