Family friendly
Mihai Bon 30/05/2017 01:04Very nice and quiet place. Everything above expectations. We were there with our little daughter, 2y7m, and we were so surprised to find a lot of toys in our double room. Tv, toilet and shower in the room, clean sheets, towels. In the morning we had a full English breakfast included in the price.
Overall we enjoyed our staying very much. Great service for good price.
Small room with too many beds
Sardegnabellaon 17/04/2017 21:08Apparently by mistake I booked a room with a share bathroom (do they still exist?). I found this out at our arrival when it was kindly upgraded to a room with bathroom. Factoring in that we paid £65.00 which I found it was too expensive even for the room with the bathroom, for a room with a share one it is definitely very bad value for money.
The room was very small but despite of its size it had in a double bed (comfortable) and bunk beds. The bathroom was ok a part from the tiles above the sink which were sprinkled with beard hair.

Great location and service

The location is great, a short walk from the station.
The twin room was very comfortable with a kettle and hairdryer in the room.
The team was very friendly and helpful, cooked breakfast excellent.
Great find
Clive Aon 30/09/2015 12:18Stayed there for one night when visiting the Elvis Festival in Porthcawl. As all hotels / Guesthouses were fully booked in Porthcawl and there was very little available in Bridgend I was a bit worried about what we might get. .....I had absolutely no need; why this place wasn't snapped up immediately is beyond me.
Great room:- clean tidy, not squashed in; shower / bathroom the same.
Hosts were very welcoming without being over friendly; breakfast was lovely.
Very handy for the town, railway and bus station.
I would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the area
