This is a winter review.
First the positives; the greens were watered, fast and a lot of break.
The remainder of the course isn't watered. Fairways are brown. There's no maintenance on fairways and rough. Bunkers are hard, no sand.
I could continue, but let's keep it simple; don't go.

We'd played Black Mountain before and thought it was fine. Not this time. Course was very dried out and in rough condition. Greens were so fast as to be unfair to anyone who didn't play them everyday. Even though we got discount prices (from GolfNow), the price was too high for conditions. We played the whole round, but the couple we played with were ready to walk off at about 13. All the other courses we played in Vegas in the same price range were in significantly better nick.

Golf event and luncheon
The golf course was beautiful the luncheon was great and we would highly recommend coming back I love the fact that you can play golf and they're ready when we are.
The staff was very accommodating will definitely play golf at Blackmountain again thank you

The course has an interesting selection of holes that will challenge most golfers. The course was is good shape when we played in April. The fairways, greens and tee boxes were very playable. The sand traps could use a little work and more sand. The pace of play was good which made it more enjoyable. There are a lot of residents that play the course so it can get busy.

My husband and I played 18 holes of golf here on February 5, 2015. Two single golfers were placed in our group. The price was $59 per person. The greens were in good condition. The fairways were not as smooth as they could have been. We had to wait on a few holes for the group in front of us. We completed our 18 hole round in just under 4 hours. The staff at this course was friendly, courteous and helpful. There are a lot of sand traps which need more sand in them. This is a par 72 golf course of moderate difficulty. To drive to this course from the Las Vegas strip takes about 30 minutes. There was a cart that brought beverages to the golf players.
