This is a small family resort at a beautiful beach. Not fancy but nice enough. Great beach, great food (thanks to chef Pasquale from Puglia), rooms good size, very clean, staff extremely friendly (wonderful maître), biggest downfall of this family resort is the entertainment and kids entertainment- kids area is very poorly maintained, broken toys or no toys at all. Not a lot of games organized to keep them engaged. The entertainment staff actually asked the guests to pitch in to by materials! I would suggest this issue could easily be dealt with by increasing staff and giving the kids area an overhaul. Supervised Entertainment during dinner would help parents enjoy their dinners! Some dancing after dinner for the adults wouldn't be a bad idea either.

We found this hotel thanks to Tripadvisor and we had a great stay there last week with our 2 kids (3 and 5). The village is just BEAUTIFUL, all the cottages are spread in a huge exotic garden. It's the ideal place if you want to have space. We had a luxury family room with 2 separate large rooms, A/C (wich is necessary day and night over there). The room was very recent (like the rest of the club). It was lovely and we could see they gave attention to every detail. The private beach is wonderful and HUGE (one of Sardinia's largest beach actually). The water is crystal clear and safe for the youngest. The pool is reasonably large and not too crowded. The restaurant is good, and they make extra efforts to renew the menus everyday. And last but not least : the entertainement team is very friendly and works hard. The only thing is that we were the only non-italian-speaking, and almost nobody could speak english there (including the staff!).
Anyways, we had a great time there !

A great place to holiday without frills. The location is nice. Beach is pristine clean, although it lacks the beach bar. It means walking a 200m stretch just to get water.
The food is varied but not sumptuous. There's a pool for kids. Rooms are clean but small.
No dive centre.
No gym.
Tennis court.
A nice trail for runners.

Stayed 12 days in June 2013 in family room 2+1. Rooms are clean and cozy and equipped with comfortable beds. Clean service and towel change is very good. The quality and variety of food in the restaurant are just excellent (buffet). Chef and whole kitchen stuff try their best to vary a daily menu. A variety of meat and fish dishes were always on the table during lunches and dinners. If you are keen on Italian pasta you will, no doubt, be satisfied with the specialties from Chef. The girls at the reception and accommodation personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. The private beach of the hotel at Costa Rei bay is a demo version of the Paradise on earth. Quality of water of water and sand are just marvelous. If you are looking for the place to relax and enjoy the sea, Alma Resort is the right place, which gives you all absolutely necessary to do so.
