Amazing place to stay central to shops amusements and beach literally everything is in walking distance.
The room is what you pay for there’s drink making facilities the beds are adequate with tv in room as well so all good for what you need
Alan the owner is very friendly and is always happy to help and cooks a good breakfast so gave him 5* cos I got what expected and was looked after

Very friendly centrally placed beShaun hind Coral Island. No frills but very good price. Owner very friendly good breakfast for money. Will stay again. Bus stop cafe outside door. McDonald's just down road also tower and shopping.

It's a B&B in Blackpool. If you want the Hilton, stay in the Hilton & pay their prices.
OK, so now that's out of the way, on to the Almar. We booked through an online booking company, and chose the Almar simply on location, as it looked close to everything we needed. Turns out it was even closer than that, within sight of Coral Island, opposite the big car park & bus station, and literally 2 minutes from the beach, Tower, Winter Gardens, and pretty much everything we could want.
We arrived on a very, very busy Saturday evening, and had to park a few minutes walk away, as there were no spaces left on the main public car park over the road. Alan, the host, tipped us off to a smaller car park in the streets behind the hotel, which turned out to be cheaper than the main car park, so we moved our car there on the Sunday morning for the rest of our stay.
Our family room was up in the attic, so a properly traditional Blackpool B&B experience for our daughter, who thought it was a huge adventure. Room was clean and well appointed with a massive en suite with shower, sensible heating levels (unlike certain chain hotels in the town!), and all we really needed.
We hadn't booked breakfast, but Alan offered us to add it to our stay on arrival, and didn't charge for our daughter. This worked our far cheaper than our original plan of visiting Wetherspoons, and the breakfast was well worth the cost. Full English, toast, cereals, as much as we could eat!
The outside isn't the most inspiring, but the location is absolutely perfect. We didn't experience any disturbances from people, though the seagulls do start their morning chorus at about 4 am, but that's standard for anywhere in the town.
All in all, a great little hotel, and a great welcome. Thank you!

Just stayed here for a long weekend. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Arrived very early but we were able to leave our Cases in and went an had summit to eat and our room was ready. Got into our rooms after a long night n morning travelling and was impressed room was very clean tidy and warm. We booked breakfast for our 2 night stay and couldn’t fault it either very quick service and lovely to start the day. The hotel was also very quiet wouldn’t know anyone was staying there. This hotel is central to everything couldn’t get any closer. Alan went out of his way to make sure everything was okay and nothing was too much bother for him. He let us store our bags until we were ready to leave. Top guy too hotel an definitely will be back. Thanks Alan keep up the good work. Jamie, Annie n Luc. Northern Ireland

I have just returned from a trip to Blackpool stayed at Almar hotel. I have stayed in many places over the years in Blackpool where there has been no heating on. It was great to get up in morning and come in at night to a cosy room with heating on after being out all day as weather was very cold on my visit. The hotel is spotless and breakfast value for money. The location is great with a 2 minute walking distance to promenade and tower. Alan could not do enough for us always asking were we alright did we need anything. Carrying heavy suitcase to our rooms. Calling a taxi for us to train station. Could not fault anything about hotel great stay. Would definitely recommend.
