Comfortable stay! I stay there around 20 days, Great facilities and very nice breakfast Dinner and room service. The staff are excellent, courteous and responsive, Special Thanks to Chef Esatulah, Chef Mirza, Chef Hafiz, Hotel staff Chandan, Pooja, Rukmani, Atul, Kaushik and Receptionist Manju and Gnaneshwar.

Spent 16 days at Aloft before we moved to our own accommodation during our move to bangalore. The hotel is at a walking distance from the back gate of ITPL, about 500 mtrs.
The rooms are of decent size and have a cozy feel, with a comfortable King size bed and big windows which make the room really bright. The bathing area did not have a rain shower, which I think should come as a standard in every 4 star hotel.
The service staff works hard to keep you room clean and are always up to help out with your needs.
I found, like always in Bangalore, the front office staff to be little untrained and not very warm.
The breakfast should get a special mention, as we stayed here for a long time we still were did not get bored of the food served everyday. The chef kept an eye on our preferences providing us with special treats. Overall the restaurant staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs.
We also liked the food served in the room.

In most cases, my experience at Aloft Bengalaru Whitefield exceeded expectations! If I had to nitpick, first the things which could have been slightly better:
-water kettle got too hot at times (handle and switch)
-refrigerator was not cold enough. Staff brought a new one in which everything inside was ice cold, but fridge warmed up again while in our room.
-shower water did not drain well
-toilet did not always flush very well
-I could never quite tell if the heater/air conditioner was working
-Staff did not check that I was the correct person before issuing a new room key. In one case, they confirmed my name by reading it from the screen. In the second case, I simply told them my room number and they provided me a new card.
Those were all minor issues in the grand scheme of things. The hotel was clean, modern, and all around very nice. The restaurants had very good food, although sometimes no spice was still a little spicy. Their breakfast options had a lot of variety, including a few cook-to-order options with a good mix of Indian and Western options. They provided water bottles daily, and they were very conscientious regarding providing bottled water in restaurants when asked, and also used purified water for their ice cubes. They also had a lot of tea and coffee, including some espresso options.
The place where Aloft really shined was the staff. They were some of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Most of the customer-facing positions, the employees spoke English fairly well, and there was not too much difficulty in communication. The security guards would always greet me with a friendly Namaste, the gentleman who cleaned my room (Babu KS) was very friendly and helpful, even providing suggestions of places to visit when I went out to explore the city.
In the dining room, I found three of the employees particularly amazing! Kahna, Atul, and Pooja made every dining experience a pleasure. They all went out of their way to make sure I had an amazing experience! In one case, I was coughing and I was immediately offered a beverage. And they even learned some of my food preferences and would offer to bring me a coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, etc. They would even point out when some of the other people we arrived with were already in one of the restaurants in case we wanted to sit with them.
I would happily return again in the future, if only for the amazing staff!

Thanks to the entire staff, specially Kanha and Atul for their excellent customer sevice throughout my stay.
The south indian food festival was a great experience, had an excellent opportunity to savour the best southy delicacies prepared by head chef (very talented guy) and his team !!
Looking forward to my visit again.

As this was my first time around Whitefield area in Bangalore and being a SPG Platinum Member, i decided to go with Aloft for my 1 night stay. To be honest, the location feels little isolated though it is just a stone throw away from the main road. The hotel feels deserted from the outside for sure. Once i went in the staff were warm with their service. But being a Platinum Member and it being a SPG Property, i expected the usual Platinum service. But to my surprise, the staff didnt acknowledge my membership, never asked for the amenities or explained what i am entitled to. They just bumped me from a city view to a pool view room. When i asked for a suite upgrade, they said all were booked out and to be honest the hotel was empty. So i pulled out my SPG App and showed them the vacant Suite rooms which were still available, So i told them that i will go ahead and book the suite room and if it goes through i asked them if they would bump me. He then made few calls and then front desk guy made up a story that they had a cancellation and thats when they gave me the Suite Upgrade (Which was a total lie). On entering the room, though it was a suite, the main bedroom and bath remained a normal Aloft Room with an additional room. The bed quality was good and the bath, though it was small for a suite standard, got the job done.
But there was bigger problem that i noticed in the room. Which were tiny cockroaches on the tables and a few even on the bed. I only noticed one or two on the bed which i cleaned thinking chalta hai but later in the night i noticed a few more around the room. Im sure the hotel with its low occupancy, needs to some better pest control, This is something the hotel needs to take care and i think i will avoid this hotel in the future for the same.
While checking out, i did mention the same to the front desk and they frantically called up some people and thats it, they said they will take care when i showed them pics. Also another issue is their check out experience. Since the introduction of GST and the tiered GST rates for hotel rooms, the room tariff was in the 18% bracket. But the hotel charged me for 28%. When i asked them the same that it should be in the 18 and not 28, they didnt know how to change the tax. So i had to wait for 20 minutes for them to correct which they couldnt and as my flight time was approaching, i had to just swipe my card for the amount they verbally told me and later they emailed me the folio. Overall an eventful trip it was as far as my hotel stay.
The food was good and the service of the staff was excellent in the restaurants. The hotel needs serious education regarding treating SPG Platinum Guests.
