Pictures and previous reviews are deceiving. The website showed a lively hotel with what seemed like a spacious bar. In truth, the bar is a small counter with a few seats and a modest lobby. It seemed well decorated (boutique), but everything is cheap and the rugs look worn and dirty. Walls are paper thin. If it wasn't so late, I would check out and find another hotel. It is so LOUD. Our first impression was a strong odor of marijuana on our floor and in the elevator. There is a sign on our door to make sure the lock is deadbolted and that we use the security bar when in the room. When I called to complain, I was informed that there is a security guard on Friday and Saturday nights. I am actually scared to fall asleep. I will NEVER stay here again

I was in town for work. This was a cheaper option close to my meetings. I always ask for a high floor as the lobby tends to be a party later at night and I need my sleep. My colleague took the lower floor and didn't get much sleep. I would just keep that in mind depending on what type of trip you are on. If I was looking for a party the lobby is rocking later at night. Staff are nice. I liked the gym and workout center.

For a trip outside of Cleveland, this is a great option. Nice location, clean, well run hotel. I have stayed here a few times for both business and pleasure and always had a great experience.
I messed up the reservation and they could have been punitive about it, but instead we're very customer friendly. Thank you!

I stayed with my wife for 2 days in Aloft in beachwood and it was great. I asked the front desk clerk if I could upgrade to a suite and he gave it to me for free. His name was Kelvin and he was a great guy. The rooms were stylish, the beds were so comfortable, and our view was great too. It is also close to a lot of restaurants that my wife and I enjoy. I definitely plan on coming back to Aloft in beachwood.

I stayed at the Aloft Beachwood for a combined family visit and business trip. I liked the decor, vibe and facilities at the hotel. The bed very comfy, bathroom and closet layout great and wifi first class.
I also liked the free coffee in the morning and breakfast sandwiches available for purchase. The bar and lobby area nice for evening wind down.
Access is very easy off I-271 and the hotel is convenient to Eton Collection, Beachwood Place and Legacy Village shopping/dining areas.
All and all, an excellent addition to the East Suburban Cleveland hotel scene and different than its competitors. Worth a try if your looking for a updated hotel scene.
