Used my Starwood points for a free night. arrived at 10pm and got the 3.30am shuttle for a 5.30am flight -parked for 10 days and only got charged for 3 nights-did not see a lot of the hotel but staff and shuttle worked great. would stay again

We stayed at this hotel because we were attending a wedding and this was where it was suggested that we stayed. There was a group rate and I missed the cut off so I was not given the wedding party rate. I had to pay the full amount. I only stayed here because I wasn't familiar with the area and didn't know the other options. Apparently there was transportation to and from the reception, which the front desk person knew nothing about. This was the main reason we stayed here. Apparently it was arranged through the wedding party and the front desk didn't feel like it was there responsibility to inform their guests of the details. They had apples out and were charging $2 PER APPLE. The next morning I got up and the only coffee left by the pot in room was one decaf packet. There were 2 people staying in the room and we most definitely did not want decaf coffee the next morning. There was a Hilton Garden in right next door. Had I know, I would have booked there. They actually give apples away for free! The only place to have a second of privacy was the room where the toilet and shower were which was extremely small. The door didn't lock. The sink was not private and actually a party of the hotel room. Changing was difficult with children in the room.

We were at the hotel with many family members for a local wedding. When we arrived, the refrigerator did not work. Had to wait to have them change it out, clock and remote did not work. Only gave us 2 towels - we were constantly asking for more towels during the weekend, when I called the desk they said that they were completely booked and they couldn't keep up with the laundry Our other family members got the same excuse - this is a hotel.... really you ran out of clean towels for your guests!!! The entrance the hotel registration is a round, very confusing counter, the girls were NOT on top of their game at all. Took forever to check in and to check out!
A woman came out to the pool (5 young children swimming) and she told them "to KEEP THE WATER IN THE POO!). I am 60 years old and I was watching the kids and they were perfectly fine - she was miserable. Also, I requested a cot for my room and every time you ask for something they had an excuse for not being able to do it - we are completely booked was the pat answer for the front desk. When I requested the second time for a cot, they took it to the wrong room!! - and that family member stated she had left her purse wide open on the bed, and was missing $40.00 (2 twenties) from her wallet, when we reported it, the manager said she would do a report, when we checked out ... there was no report written according that manager! There was not one plus for this hotel..... my husband and I travel are travelers, I would never recommend this hotel. Probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at for sure.

We stayed for a night - on a weekend getaway and were pleasantly surprised by the no nonsense, modern feel of this hotel and its amenities. Very sleek looking from the outside-in. Clean, fresh lobby and bar area. Bedrooms make great use of space with wall-mounted flat screen TV, built-in bench instead of sofa, full length mirror doubling as door to bathroom. All very clean and tidy at a great price! Wouldn't hesitate to visit again and recommend to others.

We typically only stay at Starwood properties and have been to a ton. Aloft is essentially a budget W. Modern, simple, bare look and feel. We've never been disappointed and certainly weren't this time. Great airport hotel for what we needed!
