Honestly, when I was gathering information about this hotel, I was hoping it would be like an IKEA type experience, but in reality.....we felt way way too old for this hotel. (and I'm not even 40!) I felt like we were really out of our element. The hotel is nice, but very trendy. By that I mean, very minimal. There is not a single drawer or private spot to stash your clothes and items, unless you lock it all in the in-room safe. That's weird. There is a tiny little fridge under the bathroom sink. You can request a microwave. I took up the little teeny "closet" (read: shelf) - my husband lived out of his suitcase so I could have the little storage space available. The bathroom has a frosted window that looks out into the bedroom area, so between that and the fact that the wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom doesn't go all the way to the ceiling....and everyone wakes up if anyone gets up in the night. It's very bright. Our toilet was exceptionally loud and there's no fan in the bathroom.
On the plus side, it was a very quiet hotel overall. I hardly ever heard any noise outside our room. The fitness center was one of the best I've seen in a hotel. I liked being able to get a free pair of earbuds and watching youtube videos on the treadmill. You can purchase items for breakfast, or go across to the gas station just a little way across the parking lot. The location is convenient.
Overall, we probably won't stay here again. It's just too "out there" for us. I also definitely would not recommend staying here with a co-worker, because there is almost zero privacy, so you'll get very well acquainted! I'd rather stay solo in this hotel if I were to stay again.

The hotel was especially busy this time, but they did not miss a beat and we had another enjoyable stay at this property. It is a convenient location for many things in Frisco and the surrounding area. Our room was in good order and it was a quiet evening. We enjoyed our breakfast downstairs the next morning and a leisurely time reading the paper in the lobby. The staff is attentive to your needs and parking is great around the property.

We had attended an event in Frisco and decided to stay the night at the Aloft, and it was a great choice. It was modern, clean and everything you need is in the room. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. The bed was super comfortable as well as the pillows. Location was great, close to several restaurants. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will surely check out other locations from now on.

...and this particular hotel was nice... not thrilling but nice. Rooms are nice and I liked the lobby/bar area but it just didn't floor me like some other properties. Still, I'd definitely pick this as where I would stay in Frisco. Visited a nearby major chain hotel and it smelled badly and was so happy to go back to my Aloft.

Good location, nearby lots of retails ad restaurants but still quiet. Slow wifi for some reason and surprised to find an opened bar of soap by the sink left from previous guest. Also, woken up by alarm clock set by the previous guest. Other than those, room is comfortable and has all necessary items.
