The hotel was nice. Rooms were spacious and clean. The lobby was funky. Where the hotel really shines was the staff. They were very friendly, knowledgeable of the area and extremely accommodating. We arrived much earlier than official check-in time, but only had to wait about 10 min to get our room. We had given them prior notice that we would be early, but still, it was greatly appreciated.

I have stayed here several times along with other Starwood properties.
The Aloft Miami Brickell is one of my top favorites of Starwood properties.
Each stay here is seamless. All of staff at this Aloft is wonderful. The rooms are immaculate. Check in and check out is easy.
If you are traveling to Miami I recommend this property hands down.

An overall ok hotel, felt safe, and clean (at first.)
Walking 2 blocks to restaurants and shops sounded nice. However, it meant walking by open trash, and discarded furniture on a very dark street. Was not happy with that recommendation from the front desk and was genuinely scared for 2 blocks.
Also, they "forgot" to clean the room the second morning (so no in-room towels or coffee.) Front desk response was "we have hot coffee in the lobby." Um.
I might try it again now that I know location and would expect a better housekeeping experience. On checkout, no one asked "how was your stay." or same feedback would have been delivered.

I came here on a business trip and I was pleasantly surprised on how centralized this location is. It was just a short walk to the Brickell City Center, and an $8 lift to either Winwood or the oceanfront. It is also very close to the airport so that makes it in general very convenient.
The accommodations were well kept and the help at the desk were very courteous.

I stayed at this hotel for a near by conference. From the moment you walk into the hotel you can tell its a modern contemporary style hotel, very boutique appropriate. The room I stayed in was designed to provide total privacy between the sleeping area and the washroom area.
The staff was quite friendly and readily available. Public transportation is a few minutes away by foot.
The lounge in the lobby is appropriate for meetings. I would stay here again specially because its centrally located near public transportation and a few stores.
I didn't have a good view, as there is construction going on near by. Noise was not bothersome. Oh and the balcony came in handy!
