I generally like this brand and am a loyal SPG member but this location is terrible. The sheets are old and need to be taken out of rotation. They are washed, but I don't feel like they are cleaned. It is a cheap place to stay and I traveled here for work several times in 2016. Hopefully they have fixed their issues and gotten more attentive staff.

i typically stay at a central SPG property when i am working in san antonio. the riverwalk is too expensive. so, i usually stay here or at the 4 points sheraton. both hotels have an airport shuttle. the aloft shuttle will also take you anywhere in a 5 mile radius, which is nice. i typically choose aloft over 4 points because i can walk to several good restaurants for dinner. both hotels are good. i like the modern decor. the lobby is cozy. the beds are comfortable. this hotel can be a bit noisy as it is close to the freeway. i see that some people have complained about theft from their cars. that is a san antonio problem. NEVER leave any valuables in your car anywhere in san antonio. san antonio is a safe city, but theft from cars is rampant. service here is terrific!

A friend and I was goin to a Cowboys football game and were to leave on the next morning...so we book a room at the Aloft airport..I loved the hotel..the rooms clean and love the lay-out...there was a bar on the property...I will visit this hotel again...

I was really excited to stay here because I have heard so much about the Aloft. The location is great, it's right off the freeway and near great shopping and restaurants. Parking wasn't the greatest, not sure if that was because the bar was still open or not. The front desk staff was super nice. There is a bar and lounge area when you walk in. Our room was nice and modern and on the surface it appeared to be clean. The bathroom area wasn't as clean as it could have been and when I got in the bed I pulled the pillowcase back and looked at one of the pillows and it had stains all over it. I then looked at all of the pillows and out of 8 pillows four of them had stains. When I called the desk, the night Manager (Jimmy) came up and brought me new pillows and comped our breakfast. The next morning when I looked out the window at the pool area it was in need of some repair. A few of the chairs were torn. Which really surprised me. Even with the issues I noted I still believe this could be a great place to stay with some retraining of the housekeeping staff. I plan on checking out another Aloft in the near future before I take them off my list.
