We have booked a room in goibibo. But accidentally selected 1 adult in a double bed room. When we reached there the reception staff were not allowing us to occupy it since we have booked for 1person only. I have even asked them to allow us by taking the extra person charge which the hotels usually do. But they havn't accepted saying its against their rules. Finally they said they would consider if goibibo ppl asks for that change. I really didnt understand what the problem is. How could they accept the extra person (with extra charge) if requested by goibibo only and not the customer who came all the way to stay there. Finally they have charged 1000 extra for the extra person.
The below are the cons:
1) Very Old rooms & toilets & no dish for tv
2) poor breakfast with less options
3) most imp: timings are strictly check in 1pm to check out 10am. i donno what they are going to do there for 3hours.
4) this looks like a old gated community of apartments where we were alotted in the last block which needs a lil lengthy walk to nd fro.
I wont at all suggest this hotel to anyone unless u dont really hav another option. You can get a better hotel for the same price.

We visited this hotel in 19th Oct. We made booking all of a sudden. Booked 2 rooms. As we reached there the receptionist was nice and alloted a room in front of the main building. As we entered the building we valued the hotel.. It was not at all maintained. The house keeping showed us the one room.. When we asked where is the second room he said it's on other side of the building have to go the away down from 3rd floor to another building side which is again on the 3rd floor on the other side.
As we made the payment through Gobibo we requested refund or to give us a better room. He asked us to wait.he made a call to his boss. We requested a room which is better and which is close to each other. They have a rooms which is close. One room was Okey. The other is have the basic lighting. No CFL bulb either was very dark.
And again we raised our voice. Asked us to wait and after one hours of waiting they gave a rooms which is Okey..
This is a average hotel to be frank but I am giving one rating because of the way they treated us (customers) let this be a lesson to you. You had rooms and you made us wait for nothing... So that you get the worst review from us.
There is lot of better place than this.. For the same price range

Our conference participants had a very good time. The conference hall was just the size we needed with sound system provided etc. which really helped us a lot. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The rooms were to our expectations. Service in general, we had no issues with. We made some eleventh hour demands and the management was very accommodating. The food was excellent. Monica co-ordinated us very well and responded to all our texts and communications....but we like Jesus the most !!:)

Pros
Pool and plants around looks nice. That's all.
Cons
1. The hotel looks old - no lift, old tiles, old bathrooms, very old rooms, more like waiting for a change
2. No WiFi in room. Only in lobby
3. Very strict on checkout timings and extended stay for an hour or two becomes chargeable even during off season.
4. Breakfast was just okay
5. Prices shown on website was exclusive of tax. Taxes are payable at the hotel
6. Sad pool table and gymnasium
7. Breakfast buffet closes by 9:30.
8. Dark corridors
9. Old ACs
10. Not so clean towels
In short, it's a budget hotel which looks fine from outside (or in pictures) but in actual it's stuck in past. The same goes how customer service and management works. Opt it, if you can live with above cons.

Our recent, relaxed stay at Alor Grande was one of clean comfort and convenience. Alor offers lush greenery, courteous caring staff and a restaurant that readily supplies, a limited, but good variety of Indian, Goan and Continental food. It's location is perfect for immediate transport, a variety of restaurants and (should one need) shopping at the superstore Delphinos or the smaller shops in its surrounds. In a word Alor Grande is THE place for a very comfortable stay.
