We had such a relaxing time, coffee to the room, a nice quiet breakfast, great dessert every night. A great DVD library to choose from for movies before bed. The staff is very informative and attentive. The fireplace was so cozy. We totally enjoyed our stay.

The room was large and comfortable, and clean overall, with the exception of the carpet, which needed cleaning more frequently. Bed was comfortable, but pillows a bit too large for our liking. Breakfast was adequate but needed more choices, esp for people who need to eat gluten free. Dessert at night was yummy and appreciated.

My husband and I took a last minute mini vacation to Leavenworth and stayed here it was quiet,we enjoyed our fireplace room and the dessert at night and hot breakfast was a plus..will definitely stay here again.

We were there for 4 nights last week of October. The Inn is very welcoming right from check-in, nice comfy chair to sit down while rooting through one's purse. The room was lovely, fireplace, large Jacuzzi and king size bed with very nice linens, nice large towels as well. The view from the room was over the front entrance but wasn't too noisy at all. The hotel is older as are most of the hotels in Leavenworth but nicely kept. The carpet could use replacing but that just might be the choice of carpet, doesn't really wear well, shades differently in wear areas. The plumbing is a bit noisy and the walls are thin between rooms but one doesn't have to listen to traffic noise as this Inn is off the highway unlike most of the other hotels. The lovely nature trails along the river are a short walk out the back door. The breakfast is very nice, frittatas most mornings with some eggs and even French toast and sausages one morning. It would be nice to have some fresh fruit instead of canned and maybe even some yogurt. Gluten free options are very limited. I think the frittata could be made with no bread in it as they had several over the 4 days and all had bread in them. Overall, we will be back again as one of the best choices in Leavenworth, all things considered.

Alpen Rose is close enough and far enough from Leavenworth's center. It's only 15-20 walking mins away from the main attractions yet within a safe distance from the pub noises. The room was clean and cozy. We loved their large and peaceful backyard. You can take your complementary brunch outside and just sit, smell the flowers and relax. There is a back road straight to the river, if you prefer to head downtown via Blackbird Island.
