We very much enjoyed our stay at the Alpen Wellness Hotel Barbarahof last week. On our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff at Reception and we were given information regarding ski hire and bus timetables to the glacier.
The room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable and slippers and dressing gowns were provided.
We used the pool and sauna area. All meals in hotel were very good and choice of dishes for evening meal. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and keen to help bar area quiet though in evening. We would definitely consider returning to hotel either in the summer or ski holiday. Location of bus stop outside hotel good for travelling to glacier.

Stayed here with my son during the Easter holidays as we wanted somewhere snow sure for a late skiing fix. Chose this hotel based on reviews on TA. Have to say that the majority of the reviews were spot on. Check in was quick, rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean and food was of a very good standard. They also have a very good wine list. The location of the hotel is right in the centre of the town and the stop for the ski bus is literally just outside. Spa area was very nice and much needed after a full day on the slopes. What made this holiday even better was the service from the staff. Really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much to ask. Special mention to Kurt and Petra who were super! Oh and the skiing was great!

The hotel is bigger than I expected, but it is modern and spotlessly clean throughout. We had a warm welcome and a quick check-in on arrival. Our room was in the old part of the hotel, but was HUGE and modern.
The wellness and pool are very nice. The evening meal & breakfast are great also. If you get back to the hotel in mid afternoon, there offer free soup, coffee and cake!
The ski bus stop right outside, and only takes a few minutes to get to the lift.
Great ski hotel. Highly recommended.

We stayed with a group for skiing, and found this to be a perfect place, great wellness, good rooms, excellent breakfast and a nice bar. Staff willing to serve. The fixed menu dinner was not too great.

We came to this hotel with friends at the end of January and enjoyed it so much that we have returned in March . The hotel is in a great location - access to town - skiing ... all amenities is superb .The hotel is modern with great facilities but has a wonderful relaxed welcoming feel about it . You can tell that it is run by a family .. the attention to detail is fantastic with caring attentive staff . The spa is a added bonus at the end of a long days skiing .
Throughly recommend ! 😀
