I stayed with a family and friends for a week in this hotel for skiing. The hotel is situated about 300 m from the main gondola In Matrei ski area. We walked to the gondola and it took us 10 min to the ski depot where we left our skies. I think that this hotel has the best location In Matrei for those who want to be near the ski lift. The hotel is very, very clean. Ok, the furnishing is a little bit old fashioned but everything is new and simple. I have read a comment that the food is bad and I have to say that we were very satisfied with the food. For this price of the accomodation it is more than great!
The lady at the reception is very polite and the service is very good except one lady that serves dinner. There was a lot of young kids In the hotel and she was very rude. She didn't want to give milk to the babys' parents during the dinner and she said that they serve milk during the breakfast.
Everything else is more than correct. I would recommend this hotel to all those not looking for a luxsury but for a value for reasonable price.

Rooms are big and clean, but if you like yourself you would not try to eat at this place. Just take a bed and find a good restaurant outside. Reception is also not working constantly. Breakfast was also very poor.
