Cute B&B with fantastic service
Lindsay Kon 02/10/2017 19:21We stayed at the Alpine Haus for one night as a little weekend getaway. It was easy to find, right on rt 94. It was centrally located to the things we were doing that weekend and had plenty of parking. Breakfast was home-cooked and fantastic, the room was quaint and very clean. Anil was an excellent host and we'll certainly stay here again in the future!
First B&B stay; amazing place!
shelene512on 27/09/2017 13:55I was looking to stay at mountain creek for mountain biking and octoberfest for one weekend night however prices at mt. Creek were over double that of Alpine Haus. Alpine Haus is located within walking distance and I loved that I could easily book online. We arrived early and Anil greeted me in the entrance. I asked if it was possible to check in early and he said absolutely, no problem. The room was perfect, bed was very comfortable, loved the home away from home vibe. Usually in hotels the water is temped because of everyone showering at the same time; the shower got perfectly hot. It was my first breakfast at a B and B and was the best French toast I have ever had. Loved every second of the stay. This is not a hotel; this is someone's home, I think its important to remember that. Anil thank you for being so gracious!
Nice B& B near Warwick winery
David mon 24/09/2017 21:09We stayed there in the Violet room with jacuzzi tub and fireplace nice room great host great breakfast. You are near everything antiques , action park and winery. Highly recommend. This was a relaxing bed and breakfast well kept and very accommodating.
Very bad stay at Alpine House in Coral Bells 2 room.
Frank Mon 22/09/2017 09:48Room extremely small for two people for the $175 per night price. Shower only had hot water or boiling water, which made it very difficult to take a clean shower. Had to shower at a friend’s hotel nearby on the second day. There is NO closet for clothes; only three hooks on a wall rack. The bathroom door did not lock and the door did not provide enough privacy since it is hollow. The only chair in the room had a depressed cushion that made it difficult to sit on. The top dead bolt lock on the entrance door did not work since the bolt does not fit the opening in the doorframe. We told the owner about the size of the room and the shower but he kept insisting that you have to set the dial on the shower very low; which we did but then you only get a small trickle of very hot water. We were the only couple in the entire B&B and he gave us the smallest room. We were very disappointed that after complaining you think the owner would offer us another larger room. He did not. Will never stay at Alpine House again. Very disappointed for the $350 we spent for two nights.
Home away from home
Joe Won 26/08/2017 00:51Alpine Haus is a great place. Anil goes out of his way to be sure your room is well prepared for your arrival and your stay is comfortable. There is a nice porch or swing & chairs on the grounds to relax or read a good book. No need to be confined to your room, play a game of ping pong out back or listen to some music or watch a movie in the living room. Breakfast is always delicious! Best finds in Vernon, NJ was the Alpine Haus & our new friend Anil. Look forward to our visits in the future. Joe & Caroline
