Room was tiny, although it was only the budget option. Great for one night stay, just to sleep. Room was clean and bathroom shower had plenty of water pressure (I have found this to be lacking at other high end hotels, but not here). General amenities could use a bit of a renovation, cupboards, vanity, curtains, carpet etc, they look a bit rundown and cheap, but that's half expected for the price you pay. Mini fridge was really loud, had to turn off to be able to sleep. WiFi was none existent, could not connect wifi signal too low.

The person i just spoke to would have to be the worst public relations manager i have ever experinced. He was most unhelpfull and very RUDE, called me buddy, and has now lost out on two bookings. Considering i was referred to his venue, which i told him about. All i can say business must be really good in Goulburn. You just lost two rooms BUDDY. I have his name if the owner is interested. ps: i forgot to say he told me to add up myself what the cost of the rooms would be and then he hung up on me.

Dirty, old, noisy and the most arrogant, belligerent manager we've ever met. Left phone charger in room on departure and rang manager within 30 minutes. Stated he would go up to room to get it straight away. We called back 3 days later on way home only to be told by same idiot he didn't have it. Finally found it and said he would post to us. No sign of it 1 week later. Rang again and told by other worker he would post it. 1 week later still no charger. Rang and spoke to Brendan (manager) a 3rd time and he told us to f*** off.
Avoid this place at ALL COSTS. Not worth 10 cents per night let alone $85 we paid.
Rubbish establishment, rubbish manager. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

We travel by car from Melbourne to Sydney quite often, usually in one day. This time we broke the journey and stayed in Goulburn. The big advantage is that you enter Sydney outside of peak hour. I booked the Alpine Heritage Motel online and was pleasantly surprised, it is an old building (1800s) but has character. The room was large and comfortable. Shower and bathroom were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. They recommended the Hibernian Hotel for dinner and it was fantastic. The motel is an easy walk to the Main Street and a very quiet location. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a good time at this place, stayed for a night. It was very old property but still clean and tidy. It was the best deal I found for the period and price, no regrets at all. No lift but not a big issue. Lot of parking and very convenient location. Lot of shops and eateries around.
