We had an early flight and didn't want to bother waiting for shuttles that the offer hotels offer, so we chose the ALT and were not disappointed! All staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Their bar area offers 24/7 snack with a very large variety including several healthy choices. Once you are parked, there is no need to go outside again as the pedway is connected directly to the airport. The parking is actually in the airport parking lot. When your flight arrives back into Halifax, the hotel validates your parking ticket. Although it is slightly more expensive than the other airport hotels, it is definitely worth it. This will now be our hotel of choice when flying out.

We were on our way to visit some campuses in NS and arrived late into Halifax. This was a great place to stay; it is attached to the airport and it allowed us to pick up our rental car the next morning instead of that night so we saved a bit. It is a boutique kind of hotel. The rooms are very european in feel and very modern. The only thing that I find lacking is lighting. Because the walls of our room were dark grey, it made for great atmosphere but not great for middle-aged people like me whose eyesight is not the best... The food served at the self-serve restaurant is pretty good. I especially liked the clam chowder.

We booked this hotel on the tail end of our Nova Scotia vacation. It was wonderful choice. Returned our rental car, walked to the hotel, got a luggage cart, checked in and loved the room. View of airport was fun and that evening, we walked over the skywalk and had a wonderful meal in an airport restaurant, then did a considerable amount of Christmas shopping in the Made in Nova Scotia store. The stay and the walk over to the airport was the most stress free experience "the night before flying". The bed was comfy, the room and amenities were fun.

Absolutely love this hotel ! Lovely customer service and stylist modern furniture! Luxurious linens & Comfy beds. A gorgeous bathroom with high end fixtures !
I highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel!

First stay at an ALT hotel. Ultra modern design with everything well thought out. Rooms a bit small but extremely functional. Large lobby with lots of seating, TV area, a business center, as well as a bar with coffee and snack service. Couldn't be any more convenient to the airport with a covered walkway to the terminal from the lobby. One big disappointment though was that there was black mold in the corners of the shower base which had obviously been growing there for some time and really quite inexcusable for a facility of this caliber. I was in room 1513 for two nights.
