Nice hotel in a nice Place
sifulottdementaon 09/07/2017 09:57I spent 3 days with my wife in this hotel. Great hotel, with all services and very good kitchen. Even the wine list is very good. Pool, sauna, relax are perfect here. The location is very good, right position to get the center and to start for excursion.

Good food but the service....
LiviaLSon 04/12/2016 17:56We got 2 hours before the check in time to the hotel and we could already go to the room, so it was very good as we were tired from the road but we were showed that our room was in another building, which is in front of the main hotel. That was of course not specified in our booking.
At the second day while I was taking a shower and my partner was in the bedroom, he saw that a women opened and closed very fast our door.
We went to the reception but at the end the receptionist could not help us with an answer about what happened and who had access to our room key.
The breakfast and dinner are very good and with good variety but you cannot see how much cost the beverage, as the menu is just in the bar near where we have eaten.
The location is also good and pool ok.
AGAIN THE FAMILY PARADISE

We appreciated our stay by the highest marks and highlighted as The Family Paradise.
Together with our sons, 16 & 18, we have chosen the December 2015 in Alte Muehle, Sand in Taufers, Ahrntal Valley „as beginning of our pre-Christmas fun“ and We were a little curious whether Beatrice, Sepp and their team maintain the high level set from our last stay…
I have to deeply disappoint all those, who expect negative news.
Hotel Alte Muehle is simply a true paradise and the oasis for our recovery.
These facts are supported by spacious and elegant rooms, beautiful and effective wellness and spa facilities & and quite, I mean very, exceptional culinary delicacies.
When, we add to all this plus very well maintained ski slopes, countless lifts & several levels of snowparks at nearby resorts Speikboden and Klausberg (even at a time of considerable lack of snow) and other sports possibilities, as illuminated small „ice hockey rink“, always available for our hockey competition, about 5 minutes from the hotel or Christmas market in the town and surroundings or for example „Advent walking path“, known as "Taufrer Advent" leading up to the third cascade of waterfalls on the „Riva di Tures“ (all highly recommended, wonderful!) and much more…
When we realize all of this, We simply must evaluate "our" Hotel Alte Muehle as the Family Paradise, again.
To confirm our words, we will use the fact that we were once again met our friends from Naples, Florida, who were in the Hotel Alte Muehle the twelfth time in a row :))

In a very nice village Sand In Taufers.
Stayed for the winter holidays in Feb 2015. for skiing on Kronplatz.
The distance between Kronplatz and The hotel is 20 minutes.
The suite 44 m2 i reserved was large enough for 2 adults and two kids., with a good bed.
The staff of the hotel is more than friendly and they really give the guest a warm welcome.
The breakfast and Diners are very good and delicious. really enjoyed my stay in the Hotel and can recommend this hotel.
