Stayed at the hotel for two nights just after Easter. On first sight the hotel is really nice, cool building, art, garden and nice room. Overall the experience was not bad but a bit odd. The room, one of the bigger ones with an upstairs loft, was nice but so filled with gadgets it was a mission to just open the blids or turn on the lights. The shower was really small with a plastic shower curtain yet they had squeezed in some odd kind of spa shower that just meant the floor got wet and you were sprayed in an odd way. Worst of all, however, was the plastic mattress cover they had put on the double bed. Like sleeping in a hospital bed, and you heard the plastic creak everytime you moved. Never experienced anything like it. The lady who worked when we checked in was also not the most service minded person I have met. She basically shrugged her shoulders when told the internet did not work in the room. I also took the hotel 24 hours to sort the internet connection. Had dinner one night and the service was good and the food ok but the restaurant felt huge and empty with the enormous space and only two tables busy. With some tweaks and a bit attention to detail the hotel would improve alot.

Great hospitality, the staff very friendly, beautiful hotel,elegant, new, designed, very clean, spacious, good.restaurant with amazing meat

excellent installations, services and people.
I did arrive late and even the person in charge at night was friendly and help me to set up.
Parking was available and not expensive.
Do you know that the building of the hotel use to be a destilery?

This is a great hotel. Super accommodating staff, spacious and clean rooms, very modern, the staff remember your coffee preferences, great wifi throughout the hotel, perfect for small conference of 30 people.

We enjoyed our three nights stay at Alter Hotel with a lovely dinner, very nice wine tasting and a tour in the small but unique Fiat/Lancia museum in the hotel. Our room was very spacious and modern with good bed and bathroom
The local cuisine is prepared with fresh food and ingredients and very tasty. Breakfast buffet is very good and had many offers including the option to order any way you want to have your eggs: fried, omelet, or scrambled. Staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks very well English!
We enjoined the annual fest in the village Barge with local food and wines !
