Alura Inn really is quite run down & unpleasant. I could go into detail about things not working but what you need to know is that this place is shabby & not shabby chic. We haven’t had the pleasure of breakfast yet but informed that it’s a coffee & donut. Probably to be picked up from the grubby reception area.
If you begrudge spending money on accommodation or are hard up then maybe this place fits the bill. Unfortunately for me my son booked it.
I’ve stayed in bargain basement but this is scraping the barrel.

I stayed here some months ago (May 2017) . The room was not as nice as it was pictured on the website. The furniture was kind of beat up. The closet had a fridge and microwave in it which made hanging things up difficult. The pillow was lumpy. The phone in the room didn't work. The complimentary breakfast is a boxed breakfast so nothing hot. Just not the quality I was expecting. It's a motel style place and in the middle of the night there were people arguing outside my room.

My family chose this place for its budget friendly price. The rooms are what you would expect for the price. But I must say that thanks to Maii it was not a budget friendly experience! She went above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable. I would definitely return here if ever needed and also recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place to stay that's not 'ghetto'.

This is a good place to stay for those who are too keen in being in the heart of a city, although the outside door/window didn't shield the noise from the road just outside very well.
The room was great size, and the bed was very comfortable.
The only other issue I had was getting into the premises of this Inn. The turning is quite well concealed especially on a road that has got a fast enough speed limit, which meant I missed it at first, and had to turn around to get in.
Overall though, this a good place to stay

The pictures really mislead. The rooms are very old and dirty, the hotel is very noisy at night and the outside is very smelly.
One need a lot of strength to open the shower tap, it's ridiculous.
The good part is that the wifi connection works well.
