2 night stay

Being very close to the village of Stockton Heath it is a great location if your planning any type celebration..Expect a bit of noise if your staying in a room at the front of the house..being Victorian/Edwardian the rooms have high ceilings and will generate a fair amount of echo etc..from passing traffic and late night revellers..Don't be put of by this because it's a cracking place to stay..the staff are very accommodating.. The family room in the annex was big and comfortable..simple and clean and quiet..also dog friendly so you can even bring the canine member of your family..The only criticism was the breakfast area..only cereal, breakfast bars and orange juice to help yourself to,although the cooked breakfast presented no complaints..perhaps a selection of daily papers and some fresh fruit and yogurts would help as would some low volume music..this may give the area a less formal and more relaxed feel..

Not enough parking spaces, had to park on the main road. Wrong room allocated, it was supposed to be 1 double and 2 singles, we received 2 doubles. reported straight away, booking .com was to blame! contact details requested by staff to enable management to deal with the issue. Still awaiting contact.
Bathroom door wouldn't close due top hinge loose, middle hinge missing, only bottom hinge holding door on.
Ran out hot water on the fourth shower.
Bathroom floor time cracked.
Cables sticking out of the wall. Not a family friendly room.
On a positive note the full English breakfast was good.
Prior to departure i again spoke to the staff about the issues with my room in particular the safety issues. I was again reassured a manager would be in touch. Still awaiting.
Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel.
Great Location for shops and restaurants of Stockton Heath

We had a large room on the ground floor with a double and single bed. It was at the front of the house so there was a bit of noise from people walking past late in the evening. There was some traffic noise but I didn't notice it as I live close to a road anyway. My sister who was with me noticed it more as she lives in a quiet village.
The room was very clean, had tea and coffee making facilities and a modern ensuite with a large shower. The hotel also has a guest's lounge which was nice to relax in when we arrived back.
It's a very easy walk to all the many shops, bars and restaurants in Stockton Heath. It's also a good location for lots of places in the North West as it's a quick 5 minutes up the road straight onto the M56. You can easily visit Chester, Manchester or Liverpool from here.
The breakfast was pleasant and the staff were all very friendly. We parked elsewhere but there were definitely at least two car parking spaces and quite possibly more.
Just, Lovely!

I used to stay in Warrington for business and never came across this place. What a lovely find. The staff are very friendly, my room was delightful and located centrally in Stockton Heath makes walking to the numerous restaurants and pubs very easy. Wish I'd found it earlier!
