The hotel is close to the Nice-Ville train station where you can also catch number 99 bus to the airport.It is just around the corner from Avenue Jean Medicine. The room is clean, the bed is very comfortable but there was a bad smell in room 35. The bathroom is small and the shower cubical is very hard to get in even for me. There is good sellection of food at breakfast and the lady at the breakfast room serves nicely.

I just came back from a 4 day trip to Nice with my family, where we stayed at the Hotel Amaryllis. The hotel was very clean, extremely friendly staff, and made it very easy for me to tend to my 2y old. The breakfast has just enough choice, although I would recommend adding a second choice of cheese and maybe hard boiled eggs, but otherwise we could find anything we needed every morning. Location of the hotel is perfect; just a 2min walk to Nice Central Train Station and walking distance from the Promenade des Anglais. We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to be back soon!

we were in amaryllis hotel 3 days,,,the staffs are very very kind and friendly, they really seems to be your intimate friends, specially those young boys ( i dont know the names) they really care about you and help you in anyway they can. but to be honest its not a 3stars hotel, its not more than 2stars,, the breakfast, the rooms, the facilities are not very perfrct, except the staff. the location is very good, its close to the train station and this is very good and helpful.

We stay there every year since 2012. The location is amazing, very close to the train station , the Main Street and all shopping places and restaurants. The prices are very interesting (even if you book the last day before coming ) .
I would like to mention as well amazing staff !!!! The best hotel staff I have ever seen . Well I really recommend this one .

We have just returned from a 5 night stay. Room 47.
We booked direct with them through their website. The check in process was quick and informative. The gentleman that works the day shift was very welcoming & friendly everyday and so was every member of staff we encountered.
We had a twin room which was a nice large size for Europe. It was clean, the bed were comfortable and the best part... it was so quiet. The last hotel we stayed at in Nice had paper thin walls and it was loud.
Although the hotel was fully booked you would never have known.We were so surprised as to how quiet the hotel/guests were.
The room has recently been refurbished, it's nice and bright, the only small thing we encountered in the room which wasn't even really an issue for us - the bathroom door didn't close. As I mentioned we booked through the hotel direct and had the choice of free breakfast or 10% off. We chose the breakfast as 10% off worked out at 50euro saving so we figured breakfast over 5 mornings for 2 people would be more than 50euro.
We were glad we chose it, for us it was great value - pastries/breads/yoghurts/ fresh fruit/ cheeses etc. Just enough for us. The lady who looks after the breakfast area is also very sweet and makes sure the food selection is replenished regularly.
It's in a safe and well situated area, close to the train station and right near a tram stop.
We would highly recommend the hotel and we hope to visit again in the future.
