Lovely hotel with a beautiful little restaurant

We loved the rooms and setting but the little restaurant with amazing local food was the beautiful highlight. Great service and well explained local dishes which made our stay so good. Just a shame we only had two nights. Thanks to everyone.
What a beautiful place.

The very bumpy and steep driveway are definitely worth tackling to arrive at this little piece of paradise. After a very warm and smart welcome we were given a delicious glass of a lightly spiced homemade tea. After a 4 hour drive this was most welcome. The beautiful cottages that nestle into the hillside were charming and very well appointed. Very comfy beds and very nice and clean.
The restaurant was excellent. All the food is freshly cooked and therefore takes a little time to arrive so it’s a good idea to order ahead. The Indian breakfast is different each day and well worth choosing. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Thank you to all the very nice staff for a fabulous stay.
Absolutely amazing if you love to be in nature

Let me start from the time we checked in. There reception is Kerala style house and they will greet with you with such a warmth that you start feeling homely. Next thing is the welcome drink which was a herbal tea in our case and absolutely out of the world in taste. You then walk down to your cottage which are very few in numbers in this 100 acre cardamom estate. They have designed the cottages in such a way that it gives you utmost privacy and have lot of windows inside which gives light throughout the day.
Every cottage has a private lawn where your kids can play , you can relax etc.
The food is another best thing here where they will prepare everything fresh and vegetables handpicked from their estate. You will be given to taste local Kerala delicacies in the breakfast . Though service is little slower but worth the wait when it comes and tastes extraordinarily well.
The best part is the friendly staff who is ready to give you the best experience and they have so much of knowledge about the estate that they will take for bird watching and trekking in their estate.
Overall absolutely wonderful experience and if you really like to experience the nature then this is the place to be.
Best resort to get close to nature in munnar

Very nice place to stay. The location is near from Munnar city. The plantation trail is one of the best things in this resort.
The food was excellent. The staff were very helpful. As there are only 8 cottages it is quite and peaceful even if the resort is full.
You feel like you in nature's lap surrounded by trees and birds chirping all the time.
The cottages are big and very well maintained, also they have a nice garden outside to sit and have tea which is really nice.
Colonial Stay

A good resort with private cottage in colonial style. I enjoyed the stay with my family.
As the name conveys, Its located inside an estate. Good cottage style spacious rooms ideal for a family of even 3 adults and 2 kids. Even though little expensive, good food. GM- Mr. Byju was very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed the mountain trekking arranged by the resort. Undoubtedly its a paradise for nature lovers especially bird watchers..
