The first red flag were the signs in the office at check-in...."you have 15 minutes to cancel your reservation", second red flag was the smell of urine in the stair well. They allow pets, so the room had fleas. The carpet was disgusting and it appeared the room had not been cleaned, soap scum on the sink and bathtub had not been cleaned. The shower did not drain. They have attempted to update the bath with new tiles and granite yet did not change the toilet seat, must be the original...The sink faucet was night tightened down. I would spend a little bit extra money and stay at a different place.

Well for one thing nice TV! The floor is filthy dirty the bottom of my feet were black as coal. Also found out they do not have continental breakfast or coffee. I was told because there's a coffee maker in the room they don't do coffee. And the closest place to get coffee is that the truck stop across the road. I would not recommend this place unless you have no other choice. The girl at the front desk she was superb I'm very nice. This place definitely needs to be cleaned up!

The room itself was nice and had obviously been redone recently (new bathroom, new tile, new furniture). However, the part that was still carpeted was dingy and the edges were coming up. Our room smelled terrible but that's probably because it was a smoking room, which was the only one available when we checked in at 3am. The comforter had a few burn holes on top and the bottom sheet had three blood spots. Overall it was a decent enough place to stay for a few hours of sleep if you aren't being picky and are looking for a cheap option.

Greeted by a " cucaracha" at the lobby, we were checked in by a friendly gentleman at the front desk. We were on our way to FL so we needed to rest for some hours. The rate is low compared to other hotels so based on that, I know what to expect.
The room was clean.
Note to their maintenance department: the granite backslash in the vanity top still has the "X" white marks that mean what side of the granite has to be polished. Those are easily removable if you use a razor blade. When you work in the granite & marble field, it is annoying seeing a terrible finishing work . lol
I usually have a razor blade in my car but I didn't have one this time, otherwise I would have remove those for you.

The staff is by far the most friendliest and most helpful staff I've had in a long time. The rooms were very clean, showers were great. They made me feel like it was my home away from home. The bar onsite was great and the food was excellent. I would recommend any and everyone to come stay at the Americas best Value Inn florence south carolina.
I will be back soon
