This place should be shut be down and REMODELED before letting people stay here any longer. Do NOT even do this for a football game. It is an old nursing home and the odor eliminator is not working. The smells were so bad and STRONG that my kid's eyes swelled up and we all were coughing and miserable. The staff there was nice and I don't hold them accountable ... you can only work with what you have! We changed rooms THREE times. Something gross on the carpet and the a/c units were full of MOLD. We came straight from a swim meet in Missouri City and my kids needed showers before the wedding. We ended up letting them shower, change clothes, and LEFT without sleeping there. It was $115 down the tubes! This room had no shampoo, soap etc. I even asked for a sewing kit or safety pin for a wardrobe malfunction and they couldn't even come up with THAT! When we were leaving another customer told my husband " don't let the roaches carry your stuff out" .. my husband laughed and the guys said "man, I'm NOT kidding!" We ended up changing and leaving the hotel immediately. The staff knew we dissatisfied but didn't have any better accommodation to offer us after room #3! We ended up driving home at midnight to sleep in our own beds! This hotel was listed as having accommodation for the wedding we were attending ... a HUGE disappointment.

Rooms are not clean. This is an old broken down motel. The first time after hundreds of hotel stays in my life there is no housekeeping service!!! Skip this place!! Locations great, look for other places.

We went to a Texas A&M football game. It was a late game so we knew we would be too tired to drive the 3 hours home late at night and elected to rent a room at this hotel. The front desk staff was very nice when we checked in but the physical facility was very disappointing. There was an "off" odor in the room; dead cricket in the bathroom; only one bath towel in the bathroom; disgusting carpet; awful pillows; extremely old furnishings with no pride in how they looked. The only positive is the bed was good, the sheets were clean and the A/C worked well.

Nice size room . Did not like the small pedestal sink in the bath room--no area for cosmetics, etc. Exhaust Fan in bath room very noisy!! Slippery bath tub. Not much breakfast selection. Okay for one night.

My husband and I stayed overnight while attending a wedding. Our room had no bath towels. I called the front desk and was told they would send some right away. My husband got in the shower but we never received them so he used a hand towel. We left for the wedding and when we came back still no towels so my husband went to the front desk and professionally expressed his irritation of not getting towels. The front desk guy told him to calm down because he was irritated that we never received our towels...
Also our toilet was stopped up when we arrived. When we told the front desk we were just given a plunger to do it ourselves.
The carpet in the room was dirty and the room was muggy the entire stay.
We tried to get coffee at 9:15 but the breakfast was already put up even though it was a Sunday.
I'm not sure if there is a better option in Caldwell but we don't plan to stay at this place ever again. For the price of $112 we could pay $30 more and stay at a Bed & Breakfast.
Overall it was close to our venue but the customer service is not good at all. The bed was comfortable and bedding was nice.
