Going Caching 2017

Booked online to save a few bucks and was worried about some of the reviews. I needn’t have worried.
Cleanliness: No issues except dirty guests throwing trash in the parking lot which the staff promptly cleaned up.
No smoking room: There was a cigarette burn in our carpet so someone smoked in our room at one point, no big deal since the smell of smoke was not present. The room smelled good and clean.
Insects: Outside the hotel there seemed to be a lot of bugs trying to get inside. We have seen this before in the south when a swarm of ladybugs ended up in our window. This hotel used towels outside the doors to keep them out. It worked, no real bug issues.
Environmental control: it was sooooo humid and hot during our visit, I’m so happy our air conditioner was amazing! This was of great importance to me.
Bed: very comfortable, no issues.
Decor: Dated but nice, no issues.
Free breakfast: Lame, go elsewhere.
Bathroom: Possibly the smallest bathroom ever, but functional with strong water pressure and very clean.
Mini fridge: no issues.
Price: Excellent considering difficulty finding lodging this week.
Location: Perfect for me, less than 15 minutes from our activities in Rome.
Security: No issues or concerns.
This was the right place at the right time. I’ll come again next year unless I hit the lottery and can afford a nice RV.
Awesome Home Away from Home

We really enjoy staying here every time we come to Georgia from Florida we stay here. They always make our stay WONDER-FULL we would not stay any where else. They know what we like and what we need when we stay. My mama was having problems walking a few time when we stayed and he remembered and made sure we had a room on the bottom and either had the room warm or cool when we got there.
THANKS Y'ALL see y'all on our next adventure!!!!!!

Americas Best Value is usually a good option, but NOT this one. We booked a non-smoking room and got a room that reeked of smoke and had cigarette burns on everything. The bathroom was nasty and even had burns on the tub and sink. The man at the front desk was incredibly rude and would not give us another room. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
Noisy and uncomfortable

This is an older hotel and is located right on the highway and next door to a convenience store. (There have been some updates, but not nearly enough.) Needless to say, it was very noisy. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, so along with the highway noise, I didn't get any sleep. My husband and I both need C-Pap machines for our sleep apnea but there wasn't any place to plug in our machines as there aren't any outlets near the bed. Luckily, we had an extension cord in the car, so we were able to run an extension from the bathroom outlet out to the bed. I don't know if they would have been able to provide us with a cord if we hadn't had one in the car. I don't drink coffee, and I'm glad I don't since the coffee maker is located in the bathroom where all sorts of germs are floating in the air after each toilet flush. Haven't any of the hotels these days read any health articles about the filth in the air after you flush? (It's like they are trying to make people sick!) We won't be staying at this location ever again and I suggest others look for a different hotel also.
Great Value

I have never stayed in a motel at this price point that I have no complaints. The exterior was neat and well maintained. The desk clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable about the town of Rome. Rarely have I seen a cleaner room. The towels were generous and the bed was comfortable. There was no hair dryer, but there is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. There is a convenience store next door in easy walking distance. It is located about 6-7 miles south of Rome on Hwy. 27, with easy access to Rome and well worth the drive for the value.
