super clean room and incredibly clean linens! walked in w/no reservation.... lovely lady at the front desk! super service, let us see the room first, provided great dining recommendations! The only thing I'd say that might be improved is the temperature of the hot water.... definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel is good for the price. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Our problem is on trip advisor it said it is pet friendly. But they do not take pets. So they charged us 60.00 and told us if we left the room we would have to take them with us. This is going to make this hard for what we wanted to do. Dissapointed in trip advisor for giving out the wrong information.

It's summer and the a/c was inept. The room was clean and comfortable but the street noise was intrusive. Great big TV. Location very good. We just thought the bathroom's small size and not having a sink left us disappointed.

Owner's were lovely, very clean rooms and excellent location, great breakfast cafe just next store which was delicious! Close enough to walk to various restaurants and an excellent ice cream parlor right across the road.

One word – COCKROACHES. So. Many. Cockroaches. How did this place get so many good reviews? It is straight out of a horror film. It is a creepy, side-of-the-road motel built in what seems like the 1950s. We checked in, left the room for a few hours, came back to find cockroaches on the ceiling, walls, carpet, and yes, in the bed.
I started keeping track of how many cockroaches I killed. I got to about 11, and there were several more that we spotted that I couldn’t catch. The final straw was when we decided to turn the lights out to go to bed. We all had ear plugs in so they wouldn’t craw into our ears. About 30 seconds later we decided to turn the lights back on and when we did, there was one directly above us on the ceiling. And several more that had appeared on the walls. We couldn’t do it. We decided to leave at 11:30 at night.
The thing that was almost equally appalling was when I called management to let them know we couldn’t stay there and ask for our money back, they said “I’m sorry, we don’t have cockroaches, we won’t refund your money”. I said, “All you need to do is go to the room and look at the walls, you’ll see cockroach guts everywhere.” They said “If there are cockroaches, it is because you brought them in with you, we don’t have cockroaches.”
Probably the worst customer service experience topped off one of the most disgusting hotel stays we’ve ever had, which is why I was prompted to write this review, the first negative review I’ve ever written, I’ll add.
AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.
