Stayed at this hotel with my two daughters as we were in town for a friend of the family's wedding and since they had the best price in the area I decided to give it a try. We arrived just before 10:30pm and the clerk, while friendly, was dressed in jeans and a beer company t-shirt. Not exactly a professional image you want to convey to your customers. The hotel is run down and in need of major remodeling. The A/C in our room kept cycling on/off during the night making it difficult to stay asleep. In the morning, we had some extra time before needing to leave so we utilized the indoor pool. The hours of the pool were from 10am-10pm. After asking if there was a way to use the pool earlier, the hotel clerk allowed us to use it at 8:30 which was nice. The pool area also has a hot tub, however it was lukewarm at best during the whole time we were using it. On the way back to our room, I asked the desk clerk if we could have a couple extra towels to use after we showered. The clerk said they were out of clean towels and that today was laundry day. Needless to say I had to use my bath mat to dry off after taking a shower. I also didn't feel completely safe staying at this hotel as it's not in a great location, although we had no issues with our door lock. If one wanted to drive another 15-20 miles into Kansas City they could likely find a hotel in the same price range that is more appealing. In hindsight, when needing to travel in the future, I would choose to pay a little extra for a better quality hotel.

Lobby was not attended. When someone finally showed up they didn't speak good English nor could they actually do the check in. It took forever then they over charged me. AC sucked and my room was hot. I was sitting in my underwear trying to stay cool when the manager knocked on my door and then just unlocked it and walked right in! The room was clean at first glance but there were buggers wiped on the bathroom wall. The toilet seat had been chewed up by a dog and they just left it that way. On the plus side the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Great Place for the Price

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub which were kept clean and were great for the kids. I think only one other hotel in town had an indoor pool but it was over $100 per night. The staff was very friendly and a front desk clerk was there 24 hours a day. They have a decent breakfast in the morning and even though it was past the cut off time the hotel staff allowed us to complete breakfast before taking any of the items away. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to stay here too - very economical for the amenities that are included. I wouldn't trust all the bad reviews as I think they are overly critical.
Not bad

A nice place to stay for the price. Rooms were dated but clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Staff very friendly. Don't always trust the bad reviews. I would stay here again

I stayed for night on my way to Colorado, the reason was that comfort Inn was full booked . 1st the total price of $63 is way too high for what you get. Very old furniture , my toilet was moving when you sit. however for few hours is OK , and I wouldnt write anything unless they stole my Windshield Cowl Top Vent Cover. just a part of it . but I cant find it anything but the dealership . i found out when I was 200 miles away , onthe gas station . then I realized that when the front desk guy asked me make and model my car , he said he has the same car. I wouldn't stay there and won't recommend it. there are bunch of other motels and hotels around.
