Filthy unkept place. Entrance, halls and room smelled of smoke and some deodorizing attempt to cover it up. The refrigerator did not work and there was water and a slimy tray below the freezer compartment. The light bulb and socket hung from the lamp. The walls are thin and you could hear a couple (she was moaning) down the end of the hall for the whole length of the hall. There was a cigarette burn in the pillowcase and a sloppy mess all over the corner of the mattress. The sofa had oily stains on the arms. The countertops had breaks in cracks in them. The shower curtain had mildew all along the bottom and the bedspread was old, tattered, and ripped. When I got home I had to wash all my clothes again because they smelled like smoke. I had a hard time getting to sleep, for fear of catching something and that indeed, the sheets were not clean. There were bloodstains on the fitted sheet. Although there's a drip coffee maker, you won't find coffee in your room. I had to go to the reception area and ask for a hair dryer. None in the rooms. The sign in the reception area said "No Refunds". Apparently several people have asked before. It's no wonder. This place is a dirty dump and should be closed.

Clean fresh smelling rooms! My husband and I stayed in a King suite and this was a very spacious room with 2 full baths, living room area, separate bedroom area. The room also came with 2 TV's. You will need to bring your own toiletry items such as lotion, conditioner and soap. Soap and shampoo was offered but not conditioner. Also this location did not have a drink or snack machine and we had to purchase can drinks at $1.00 each from the owner. Very clean and affordable. The bed was not very comfortable but the cleanliness made it worth the stay

Don't expect much. On the up side the room was clean, but the whole building had an unusual odor that they tried to cover up with orange / citrus room spray. Not real welcoming. The beds were comfortable, but linens and pillows need replaced. Bathroom towels were paper thin. One amenity was a coffee pot...yes there was a coffee but no coffee or filters. The in room refrigerator was a full size kitchen refrigerator. The carpets looked relatively new and clean. The ice machine on our floor was broken so we had to go to the other floor for ice. There were no working vending machines. Stay if you must save money. I will pass next time.

They refused a room for me and my husband(same sex) and my nephew, after a reservation. Hotel was empty on a friday evening. Very rude owners. they do not like online reservations, they hate paying the companies. How is that the customer fault. The hotels smell very bad...we are planing to take action

Two floor motel. Motel is a few years old but still relatively nice. This clean room has a full-sized refrigerator, small microwave, ironing board & iron, and a nice large flat screen tv (36 - 38" ?) Lots of channels including HBO. Firm mattress. Many businesses in close proximity (such as Sonic, a gas station, KFC, Arby's, and others). Relatively quiet at night. And it's not high priced to stay here. Personally, if I was going to stay in Albemarle for an entire week, I wouldn't have a problem staying here, especially if I could get a reduced rate. WiFi is pretty good here too. A couple of noticeable 'bad' things about the room; the floor creaks in several places as you walk around, like in an old home. Two electrical wires high up on wall, joined together, but without a junction box covering them. Also I couldn't get the coffee pot to work. I stayed here for two nights in early May.
