Stayed in room 135 nov 10th. Really bad smell like old food cook smell and maybe cigs. The tv remote didn't work had the office put new battery's and still didn't work.The tv was an old zenith the kind everyone got rid of. We won't go back again. The office said they know the place needs repair this winter they said.

Located within easy walking distance of the boardwalk and pier in Santa Cruz, and within easy driving distance of many other beaches and state parks. Free breakfast is included, and a dip in the spa is a nice ending when the cool evening comes along. The service was wonderful. The breakfast area was the cleanest ones I've ever seen in a hotel. The front desk person was helpful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. It shows its age, but for the money you're spending you're getting a great value. Free parking, too!

I chose those place because it was inexpensive and the reviews were good, but before we arrived, I was wondering if I might have made a mistake. I didn't! This place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There was a even a fridge and microwave.

Small place all in single level like a motel. Park in front of your room most of the time. Excellent location only 3 blocks from Boardwalk Main Gate. Skip the $20 parking fee! A little tricky to get in as it's on a one-way street. You may need to circle the block to check in.
Room was OK but antiquated. Had old-fashioned CRT TV that needed adjustment from manager. Clean but maid forgot to empty/clean coffee maker. There was still coffee in it from last guest.
Limited outlets to charge devices.
Breakfast was OK. Coffee, packaged Madeline's/brownie bites, fruit and cereal. The juice from the machine was gross.
A little high in price but we scored a deal at last minute less than most of the rest of the facilities. It was comfortable and clean.

We stayed there in the middle of September. Room is nice and clean. You have to pay $100 deposit, if you stay in the room. I don't really get it because they gave it back to us before checking our room. They have breakfast for free where are some cereals, milk, sweets, bread and coffee. Good place at all.
