Spend 10.00 more and go to another hotel. The front desk could not care any less about us. Brought keys back, when leaving, and no comment, or how was your stay. Some America Value inns are great. Check reviews before you go. We learned this now.

I travel a lot and stay in many different motels. I prefer motels where your door faces to the outside so you don't hafta schlep luggage down a long hallway. This was one of those places.
Their signboard advertised rooms for $35/night which is what got me to turn in - I had been planning to stay elsewhere. Apparently I did not notice the newsprint size "and up".
The desk clerk said the $35 room was already sold for day and another clerk later said the $35 rooms are just in the back building which is what the majority of reviewers are apparently writing about about. I was irritated but paid $120 total for 2 nights anyway.
My room, 105, was clean and huge and featured a comfortable couch, coffee table, modern giant-size TV, comfortable king bed, fridge, microwave. Just like home! The decor was dated dark brown but functioned very well.
The bathroom was clean and OK except for the toilet which was doll-house size and not securely bolted to the floor.
The air-conditioner was robust and had the place like a meat locker in no time! The pool was refreshing and well-maintained. Coffee each morning. The other guests in my building seemed OK and my m-cycle and trailer were not tampered with despite the fact I forgot to lock them.
Would definitely stay here again!

Unprofessional reception. Filthy/unorganized reception area.
Room: Not cleaned well. Several blood splatters on walls (looks like from IV drug use); Toilet lid not even the right one for bowl. Shower filthy with hair. Felt creepy-crawlies all night and I suspect either fleas or bed bugs - had to sanitize all my clothes before I brought them home to be safe.
The place is shady...and seemed high-risk for theft. Apparently from other reviews, this concern is valid.
Bottom-line: Don't go there...no matter how good the price. It isn't worth it.

We booked this room after getting last minute tickets to a UT game. No other rooms available....I was prepared for bad after reading the reviews but thought we could get through it. Not only was the room completely DISGUSTING (other reviews were not exaggerating!) but when we returned back to the room after the game all our stuff had been gone through including my purse which was flipped upside down on the bed with my checkbooks and credit cards strolled across the bed! My husband went to management immediately and got a shoulder shrug and "Oh sorry". They of course were not shocked and I'm confident were the ones that did it. The room was locked when we left and locked when we returned. They did manage to empty the trashcan in our room in between going through our belongings. My husband ended up finding some of his clothes outside as well! We contacted the police and when they arrived they were quick to tell us that we should NEVER stay here again and if we were able to we should leave that night and if we weren't able to then we should sleep with a CHAIR against the door! Police officer also stated that they are called to this hotel on a daily basis for theft, drugs, etc. PLEASE spend a few more dollars and book ANYWHERE but here.

I tried for over an hour to find a hotel at 130 am. All surrounding hotels were booked. I think it was prom knight or something. Lots of kids everywhere. After trying to find a better place and coming up short, I reluctantly went to the horror house that is Americas best value inn. The guy at the front desk barely spoke English, he was rude and appeared to be 30 minutes away from going on a murderous rampage. I booked a room and immediately went and checked under the sheets. I saw two live bugs and lots of bed bug skins! So, I returned to the front desk and demanded a refund. After being called a liar and arguing for 10 minutes, he gave me my refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!
