We booked this at the last minute on a Saturday night as a stop over to San Diego. We just wanted somewhere budget, with no frills, for the night. 179usd was the cheapest we could find in Bishop on a Saturday night. We feel that it is over priced. Tonight, Sunday it's advertised at 110usd and we feel that price is fitting.
Into the nuts and bolts... We received a friendly reception and they kindly made our room available 3 hours prior to check in when we arrived unexpectedly early. We were very grateful for this.
The room was very clean and in good condition despite looking somewhat dated. Appliances - tv, fridge, microwave and coffee maker were modern. Shower was a bit odd to figure out, but when we did it was a really good pressure. Pleased to have a bath as well that our toddler would use. Wifi was not very good. Breakfast was 2 types of cereal, juice, and some pastries available in the reception which we happily took back to our room to eat as there was also a small table with 2 chairs. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment there. Free parking and a nice stroll down the main Street. In fact a micro brewery literally a stone's throw away!
We also had a good night's sleep there which is a bonus!

It was clean, but...
Door knob was broken, AC was terrible, wi-fi was even worse. Ok for one night but definitely not worth the price. $50 would be ok, but $100 was kinda joke. Would never go back. Breakfast was only coffee and muffins.

This review is from JULY 2017 - NONE OF THE UPDATES, RENOVATION OR IMPROVEMENTS LISTED IN OTHER REVIEWS BY THE MANAGEMENT HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. How anyone can recommend this motel is completely beyond me! Its completely rundown,and a seriously basic accommodation that is way over priced even at £88.00 per room. The rooms are shabby, the air conditioning doesn't work and just makes a whole lot of noise.
The pool is minuet, the internet wifi does not work in the rooms and intermittently by the pool and not at all in the horrid check in office. The breakfast is laughable and not even continental, you have no where to sit and have to take it to your room if you dare to even eat it. The staff/ owners are putting a seriously bad name to the Franchise and this needs to be addressed. If you need a place in Bishop, pay the extra $10.00 to go somewhere else... you WILL REGRET STAYING AT THIS PLACE! I have stayed in many motels on this trip and in my time and this is the worst... I won't even be staying for breakfast! Think twice before booking.

Nice place...easy check-in, good location and nice rooms. Nothing fancy but equipped with all of the essentials and a friendly staff. It is an easy walk to a nearby shops and restaurants perfectly clean comfy and good price!

We decided to drive up to mammoth for one day trip, went on hotels.com to find the cheapest hotel available. The room was clean, tv and internet worked and lastly, the person working the counter was very friendly (a bonus!)
