What People are saying

At least their pet fee is fair

Aleia D on 08/06/2017 00:20

Cruising home and having to spend one night in Center we stumbled on America's Best searching for a hotel who was pet friendly at a reasonable price for the pet fee (Holiday in was not the answer $50 pet fee with a $150 deposit does not make you pet friendly, rather just friendly enough to not want to say you are not)

To hotel owners who may read this review, as we are folks in the lodging business who are pet friendly, pets are some of our best guests and most pet owners appreciate being able to bring their pets so much they take careful consideration to you property for the privilege to travels with their fur babies. Please don't pretend to be pet friendly it is insulting to the pet owner

We give lots of grace to cleanliness when traveling to small towns and traditionally would of not mentioned that our room was disgusting and would of commented that the front desk clerk was friendly except that around twenty mins after checking in we heard a faint knock, which we figured was a few rooms away, but it turned out to be the front desk clerk and another fella trying to enter our room, in search of a pillow left there from a stay the night before ......

Honestly we have a very bad vibe about what was actually going down, rather than the pillow story, but if that story were to be true, the franchise owner may want to do some serious training with his staff. It is never ok to enter an occupied room without consent or emergency

A dead cockroach in bed

Viv G on 28/05/2017 15:08

I wish I could rate it worse than terrible. Words can't express when you got out of bed and found a dead cockroach tugged in your bed. A dead cockroach had been in that bed for only God knows how long!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!

Nice people and place to stay

I was passing through and decided to stay here. Since I was alone I was a little worried being this was my first time to stay alone and my first time to stay here. But the young couple eased my mind. The young man and his wife gave me their phone number and told me that at anytime I needed them just to call. The young man even offered to help carry my luggage into the room. I had problems with my cell phone and could not use it because I had forgot my pass word. They were very nice in helping me find a TMobil to take care of my problems. The room was nice and clean it was quiet and I felt very safe. I enjoyed my stay and I will stay there again just because of how kind the couple was and the room was clean. I read some of the other reviews and no one was serving breakfast without shoes on and the breakfast was nice and hot and the coffee was good and the milk was also. Yes the couple smoked but they smoked outside. So what is the big deal of them smoking? I would rather see them smoking then them be drinking or not care about how they take care of the place or how they take care of the people staying at their place. I just want to thank them for making my stay safe and comfy. Keep up the good work ! Happy Holidays.

Clean and Comfy!

I went for a funeral in this very small town. It was so easy to make a reservation, and they were so friendly.

I was thrilled that my room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and I felt very Safe being alone.

Worst Breakfast I've had in a long time

Annette T on 20/11/2015 00:27

We were "bumped" from the Best Western to the Americas Best Value Inn, even though we had CONFIRMED rooms! I was given no choice about where to stay, and since I had to be in town for business, I was just "stuck" staying at the Americas Best Value Inn. The man behind the counter was VERY nice, but he was the only thing this hotel had going for it, besides my room smelling clean. I found out later that "smells" can be deceiving. I dropped a pill on the floor my last morning there, and it went under the night stand. When I pulled it out, there was dust and dead bugs on it. Our first morning, we had to wait on breakfast, which was supposed to be out at 6:00 AM. So, we decided to wait on the young man putting out the breakfast (with NO SHOES on, I might add). We sat down to drink a cup of coffee while we waited and I decided to put some milk in it to cool it down. After I had taken 2 sips of my coffee, I took a drink of the milk, which turned out to be soured! After we told the man that the milk was bad, he replaced it with fresh milk. I decided to next try and make myself a cup of hot chocolate, because I had been "burned" on the coffee. The carafe labeled "hot water" had cold water in it...and it was BROWN. After the breakfast came out, the choices were slim. Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, and bread to make toast. No fresh fruit, no yogurt, no danishes, etc. The next morning, the breakfast room was unbearably hot, the juice dispenser was not working, and the young man who put the breakfast out was standing right outside the door with a young lady we saw come from the front desk area, smoking cigarettes. The room was comped, but I was still not pleased.
