DO NOT STAY HERE!
Suzanne Ron 04/10/2017 03:07The rooms are ridden with bedbugs! The owner and staff are not friendly at all and will do nothing to make your stay enjoyable. It's unfortunate that such rude people have to be the face of this hotel chain. I definitely would not recommend staying at this motel.
Checked out within 30 minutes
Amy Kon 04/09/2017 16:24Front desk staff was unfriendly and not very welcoming when we arrived. The first room we were given had black mold on the bathroom wall. When we returned to the front desk there was no apology, just a "let's try another one". Tried another room, but we were no longer comfortable staying there with 2 young children in a hotel that was not the cleanest and smelled very musty. When we said we wanted to check out there was no effort made to make it right or apologize.
Passing through...
minniemaeon 06/08/2017 00:37There's only a couple of hotel choices in this town. There are not much choices past this point heading east unless you want to drive another 25 miles. This hotel is decent, reasonable, and honestly, good enough for the night. It was quiet and a bit distant from the freeway. Arriving at night, the rundown dilapidated building across the street made the street look somewhat sketchy and questionable. But no worries... the parking lot is well lit and also the owner or resident manager lives by the hotel entrance. It's actually a quaint town. Inside, our appointed room was nice, clean, and comfortable. A noticeable renovation or recent updating have occurred. The showerhead though (calcium buildup) needs to be replaced or dipped in SLR. The lobby smelled like food/curry. Breakfast offering is very basic carbs, good enough to get you started on the road. Night desk clerk could be a bit more courteous & friendly. Overall, its fine.
convenient location
3grandlandson 15/07/2017 00:50my cousin and her husband like to come out from the Chicago suburbs and explore the local towns with us. They booked this hotel because it was close to everything, good price and frankly, the casinos that we wanted to stay at were all booked. She is quite fussy when it comes to the hotels she stays at and she was impressed. It has been updated (recently I would assume). It was very clean, had a nice pool but we were too tired to use it after exploring all day, microwave & refrigerator. Free breakfast was the typical choices that most hotels have and everything was well stocked. The clerks and cleaning ladies were very cordial and pleasant. My husband and I don't live far so we couldn't see the point in staying overnight but we honestly enjoyed a little time away. My only complaint would be with the room set up. I prefer the sink and toilet to be in the same room. The sink was outside of the bathroom. The coffee pot was on the counter by the sink making it difficult to wash, do hair, shave etc with the coffee pot in the way, Not many other outlets to move it to. But that had nothing to do with the comfort of the room and the hotel in general, just one of my quirks. I'd go back again.
Good overnite stop, helpful desk staff, good dinner spot referral.
2Italyloverson 04/07/2017 14:37We stopped here overnight our trip north from Florida. Our rooms were sufficient for our needs for 1 night, nothing fancy but very clean. We booked 2 rooms and all in our party were satisfied. Anne at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. We had booked online earlier so just wanted a quick dinner and rest. She recommended Danny Boys across the street and we LOVED it. Just a quick salad and pizza but fresh and good. Hotel breakfast was the usual waffles, cereal, etc. This hotel is dog pet friendly so be aware if you have allergies.
