This site was just recently taken over by Motel 6 franchisee. He was delightful. That's a really good place if your pets are traveling with you. The place is very clean. The bathtubs need a little work. We found it to be a very pleasant little retreat. When going through the area we definitely will stop again.

My great niece was admitted to Shands and I was desperately trying to locate a room for my nephew. I called multiple places to try to find a room that I could pay for in advance with no luck.......until I happened upon Patrick! I cannot say enough about how helpful he was. Although I could not pay for the hotel through him he continued to help me book the room on line so I could take care of my family in such a desperate time. I could hear him handling other customers with great patience and still continuing to help me while I was working on booking the room through the online service. I have no idea if corporate or local administration monitors these reviews.......but please be sure that you KEEP Patrick. I work in a large Healthcare organization and people that go above and beyond for others are hard to find! Patrick is amazing and I can only imagine if he was this helpful over the phone how great he is in person! If you are looking for a reasonable place with staff that are compassionate and caring.....go see Patrick! Motel 6 I hope you realize what a jewel you have and continue to look for ways to keep employees that go the extra mile!

Front desk staff was good and served me quickly. Room was nothing spectacular but clean. Passing thru and needed a quick, clean and cheap place to lie down for six hours and this place fit the bill. Plenty of services in the area so good for the in and out in the morning.

Booked a late night hotel here online after a long night of drinking. (2 am). When we arrived to the hotel to check in, Judy at the front desk said they were fully booked and that there were no available rooms. We told her we had a confirmation number and or name and she said she didn't have us in the system and couldn't issue a refund.
Keep in mind, the parking lot had like 4 cars in it. NO way the place is fully booked!
I did another search online while my boyfriend was communicating with her to see if it still said there were rooms, and Walah it said online still that there were available rooms. 20 mins later, she miraculously found us an available room, not the one we booked online but at least it was something. The room next to us at 2 am had the door wide open, bed fully made with no one in there.. that was pretty creepy.

I spent a few nights at the Motel 6 off of Newberry Road and I-75 and was pleasantly surprised. The previous reviews must have been before the renovations and new management took over. The rooms are super clean now and everything is freshly painted. The housekeeping staff does a great job and the front desk associate Tanya is so genuinely friendly and takes care of all of your needs. Seriously she has a lot of patience and wanted to make sure I was well taken care of. I ran into a slight problem which was more of a misunderstanding nothing major and the owner of the hotel handled it personally and went out of his way to make me feel welcome and fixed the issue right away. He is a family man and extends his hospitality to you on a personal level that is not found in other chain hotels. I can tell he has a lot of pride in making sure everything at his hotel runs smoothly and efficiently. The hotel is very safe and is located directly next to Marriott's Towneplace Suites behind Applebees. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for comfortable, clean rooms for more than a fair price.
