this was a nice hotel with really nice front desk people. Usually AmericInn is above the competition in all areas. only bummer was the breakfast, no biscuits and gravy-which I thought was standard fare at all of these hotels. Had the waffle, cereals, breads, hot eggs and sausage. not too bad.
Check out was a breeze.

Only hotel available and we were a little a skeptical about staying here. We checked in and found a very nice, clean and comfortable room. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was actually better then we expected so this was a nice surprise. We did have an issue with the television during the night, the cable box didnt work. I reported it the next morning but they were so busy they didn't have time to fix it. I told the desk it was not a big deal to us. We will stay here again when we go to Alexandria.

This hotel was not very clean and majority of the staff that we encountered were not very friendly at all. We have stayed at AmericInns several times and have loved our stays. This was very, very disappointing. Wont stay here again.

We found this hotel to be comfortable, and the location was good. The breakfast was good, nothing exceptional, but there was a nice variety of choices. They have done some remodeling/updates compared to other AmericInns we have stayed at in the past. My only concern was that they overlooked some of the more detailed cleaning such as dusting around the microwave and refrigerator, wiping the front of the microwave, and the bathroom door had spots on it which should have been cleaned off. Otherwise, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

On way to Minneapolis for a wedding, stayed one night in a single queen room, not bad room, only complaint was there was toothpaste on inside bathroom door. Morning breakfast was adequate, liked the ham and cheese omelettes and the sausage. Booking on TripAdvisor was easy!
