We've stayed at AmericInn's before and always had great stays but this was the first time staying at AmericInn in Kearney. We were in town for the weekend for my nephew's confirmation. The staff was very friendly during our whole stay. Lois, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful. We had requested a room next to my sister's family who was staying there as well and Lois put us in adjoining rooms which was even better. The breakfast was very good and the staff kept the food items full. We checked out at 11 with no problems. At 7pm we realized we had left our laptop and Ipad in our hotel room. Having heard horror stories in the past about items being left at hotels to never be found again, I feared they were gone forever. I called the hotel and spoke with Lois and she knew right where they were. They were turned in! You can't imagine my relief!! Thankfully we were only 10 minutes outside town and were able to turn around to get them. Lois greeted me warmly again and was happy to return our electronics to us. When we visit my sister again we won't hesitate to stay here again.

We have stayed at the Americinn in Kearney before and we will stay again. The rooms are fresh and clean and the staff are excellent! When we travel we look for Americinns because we know it will be a pleasant experience..

I lived in Kearney until about a year ago. When I found out I'd be staying in Kearney for a night, AmericInn was my first choice for a hotel. It was very clean and inviting. The lobby was open and welcoming which was a nice surprise (many hotels I've stayed at have small, dingy looking lobbies). The staff was friendly and helpful and check-in was quick. It was quiet despite being next to the major highway that runs through town. AmericInn is in a business district with several food and activity options. It's a 5 to 10 minute drive to downtown and the University of Nebraska-Kearney and 2 minutes from the interstate making it ideal for travelers. The room rate was reasonable and I feel like I got my money's worth. In the chance I stay in Kearney again, AmericInn will be my go-to hotel.

I generally rave about Americinn stays, but this one was just ok. The location was convenient off the interstate. We walked across the parking lot to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. The room had a musty smell that we couldn't seem to get rid of. The coffee in the morning was rather weak and the breakfast overall was average, but not excellent. We made a different choice of hotels on our way back through and were much happier.

I love staying at Americinn. Their staff is always excellent and the rooms are comfortable. They have a great breakfast and they are an impressive place to stay. A few weeks ago, I traveled on business and was put up at a so called "elite" hotel. Their staff was rude, the rooms marginal, and they tacked on as many extra charges as possible. It left me loving Americinn even more because I never have these problems when I stay with them. Great job!
