What People are saying

Overnite stay in transit by Royal Jordanian air

Disgusting and filthy avoid at all costs.Put in here by airline because they altered my flight so I lost connection to Dubai. I can't imagine any worse Hotel.Everything was old sink blocked, hair drier not working disgusting shower and beds so worn out they had a massive dip in the middle.

try to avoid

Used to be good hotel, run by Golden Tulip, but for only a couple of years. It now seems to be under national management again.

Basically, the hotel is used for transit passengers from Royal Jordanian Airlines, other then for a quick couple of hours sleep, it should be avoided, unless one just can’t be away from the airport for too long...

The hotel has a cafetaria, should be open from 09:00am, but I guess November times are different as it only opened at 15:00.

There is a bar, which is reasonably, as long as you don’t mind the bartender to stare at you, as he hasn’t got anything else to do. The music is too loud, and the sound boxes produce horrible sounds, which seriously deforms the music.....

Apart from one or two exceptions, the reception staff can be pretty rude and shorty. They like to treat ‘normal’ guests differently then transit passengers, although they can’t see that until you show them a reservation. Until then, you are a ‘no-body’.

Rooms are OK-ish, unless you have the luck that you are assigned a room which has just been vacated by transit guests....

The bellboys are overtly soliciting financial ‘benefits’ for non-existing’ help.

Surprisingly, the small cafe in the lobby produced a nice cake with the cappuccino, tasting very good, making a good contrast of the coffee machine, which appeared not to have been cleaned for a long time.... (makes me wonder about the state of the kitchen....)

Happy to fly again, IF the driver of the “free” shuttle feels that he wants to take you...

Low quality + Bad sleep = Never again

While this hotel’s location is fantastically close to the airport terminal and is therefore really convenient for flights, any further plus points ends there. While the standard room size is good with a reasonable amount of storage, the bathroom is small. The room was devoid of any character and was a stark white walled box with grey carpets and lacked any warmth or homeliness. Just one picture on the wall would have been nice!! The bed was very uncomfortable with the mattress feeling old and lumpy.

I think the room had recently been refurbished but the quality of finishing is very low. The window still has plaster and paint splashes on the inside, the towel rail was barely attached to the wall, cupboard doors clashed, wall sockets and light switches not straight, and not all of the ceiling had been painted. Unfortunately the refurbishment budget did not stretch to the aircon which is very noisy no matter which fan speed you select.

Breakfast is included in the room price, but there is nothing quality about it. First of all the dining hall is like being back in school. It’s a giant room with regimentally straight rows of tables. Again no character or warmth which would make this a pleasant space. The quality of the food is low and can only be regarded as fuel to tide you over until the next meal.

This hotel is poor with a cheap, low quality veneer that tries to say ‘quality’. But in reality this is a low quality hotel and one that I will not be revisiting.

Good stop for close airport transit

Visited Jordan end of October.
I stayed at the hotel for two nights after arriving in Jordan, Amman.
The Hotel is pretty close to the airport and they have a free shuttle if you have booked a room. I recommend the shuttle, cause it would be a 20min walk else and I arrived f.e. at 03:00 in the night. Breakfast was included and gives a nice overview of arabic and western breakfast. Friendly staff will help you with most of the problems, if you ask. Wifi, Water and laundry is extra charged.

Very convenient for a late evening arrival

This hotel is perfect if you are arriving on a late evening flight before going off to explore Jordan. The room was comfortable and the breakfast typically Jordanian. The service was efficient and they opened the bar for us to have a drink even though we arrived after midnight. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to/from the airport.
