What People are saying

Nice one night stay

Jennifer Lon 13/10/2017 14:46

Very nice and clean. The breakfast was good and had a nice buffet to start our day off.
The owner was very helpful with directions to where we wanted to sightsee for the day.
The rooms were very clean and quaint. The husband and wife team have done a great job on running a comfortable B and B.
Easy walk to dinner in the small downtown of balleycaslte.
Would stay here again!

An Caislean , a Lovely place to stay, Great location

keyoumanson 12/10/2017 02:32

On our second trip to Ballycastle we were fortunate enough to be directed to An Caislean by our tour guide from Giant Tours of Ireland...it's in the perfect location close to shops restaurants and the harbor. We spent a lot of time strolling the streets in the town & eating at some of the wonderful restaurants nearby. An Caislean's rooms are comfortable & very clean, breakfast was delicious and always a great way to start the day!
The WiFi worked very well, & the owners were always so helpful & friendly. Looking forward to our next trip to Ballycastle & another stay at AN Caislean.

Very Clean and Very comfortable

This is a lovely B and B in the classic British sense. Old Victorian multistorey building. Clean comfortable rooms and beds. Pleasant airy communal areas. More than adequate breakfasts. Close to town centre and the beach promenade.
It's family run and done well. Communication is excellent. The wi fi is strong. Would happily stay here again and we were sad we'd only had the one night.

Great B&B and lovely location

Lucy_OBrienon 17/08/2017 08:41

My family and I stayed at this B&B for a friends wedding, the owners where great from the start managing to extend our stay for us (given it is August I imagine this was a bit of a nightmare) and supplying us with lots of information about Ballycastle and the Giant's Causeway (its a World Heritage Site and thus free to enter...don't be fooled by the national trust just walk through the coach tunnel).

Anyway the B&B itself is in a great location and our family room was a good size and clean - we were also at the back of the property which was brilliant as it was super quite.

The owners of this place are also brilliant my 6 year old was sick on night and I had to wake them up to get new bedding which they were very lovely about (I am still mortified) and the next day whilst we went site seeing (he was fine) they cleaned the carpet and aired the room so well that you'd never have known when we got back. Thank you so much for that!

Basically I highly recommend this place.

A wonderful place to rest in Northern Ireland

This place is a gem!
We stayed with our two kids and loved it here.
The owners were really welcoming and helpful for the duration of our stay. We had breakfast each morning and were able to gain insight into the best ways to get to local attractions.
If you're looking for somewhere to stay this place is perfect.
I wish we had stayed longer than the 2 nights we did.
